Today my friends and I came in for breakfast after a long night on the beach. My friend who introduced us this place was excited to bring us here. The food was great, but unfortunately we don’t know what happened with our order but it took over an hour for our food to arrive. We believe that maybe our waiter forgot to put in our order. Customers were ever questioning why we were still waiting. Our order was placed around 9:55 and we didn’t receive it until after 11. We were compensated for the mishap. Our waiter was the young man with shoulder length dark hair. I do have a message for him. I was him before and eventually became part of the industry for 10 years. I’ve had similar experiences and went home crying questioning if I should just quit. Dont. Use these experiences as a learning lesson. Trial and error. I promise, If you continue to work hard and try to be the best you can be, you can come out on top on the industry. We didn’t want to embarrass you at all and we appreciate your kindness and making the situation right for us. Don’t give up, keep pushing and you’ll do great!

You know the food was good when the plates were all clean and we got extra for home! Staff was fantastic, and the margarita was heavy on tequila but still A+ all the way. Will definitely make it a go to stop every beach trip from now on.

We are from humble, tx and we were here for the weekend for our bday and decided to eat at this place but when we walked in, no one asked us if we needed help and when I went up to the lady I asked her how does it work here, do we sit ourselves or do we wait to be seated and her response was is there a table available and I said no that’s why I’m asking how does this work and then she said it’s 30 to 45 min wait and I said that’s fine, and then she had the nerve to tell me let me ask the boss lady, I said you have to ask the boss lady if you can seat us. And she said I have to ask if she wants y’all to wait inside or outside and it was only 6 of us. That’s very rude if others are waiting in there and we didn’t have a choice of where we could wait so we walked out and would never be coming to this restaurant again. She seemed really racist because she went and helped a white man there with no problems and he had 3 people with him and she didn’t tell him she had to ask the boss lady to see where he needed to wait. I will make sure none of my family or friends come to this restaurant!! First time here and never again!!

The waitress didn’t know about the menu or drinks. She was more worried about the tip. She grabbed the receipt before the dishes were picked up. Then I was given the complete wrong dish. I ordered nachos and was given a taco salad. I took 2 bites of my food and just wanted to leave. Horrible experience. What’s worse is other waiters maybe possible manager just stood by and watched. NEVER AGAIN.

I don’t usually write reviews but DON’T ignore the bad comments about the restaurant the service is not good at all. They take forever just to bring you the menu and our waitress never came back to take even what we wanted to drink. The tables were dirty and we had to clean ours ourselves even the people sitting around us did the same. After sitting there for almost an hour we decided to go to another Mexican restaurant 4 min away called Jose’s Cantina and it was completely worth it, don’t waste your time and money there.

Great Mexican style breakfast. It’s a good thing we went early because I’m not sure the A/C was working in there and that would have been brutal in the 103 deg outside Temps later in the afternoon.
