We are a family owned and operated business. Now in it’s 4th generation. We do take reservations but they are not required. We have party rooms a lounge and live entertainment on the weekends. All of our steaks are hand cut, we use Filet Mignon and some sirloin to make all of the burgers. All orders are prepared upon taking it so sometimes this will take a little bit longer then other times, please be patient and know that we care about you and your family and want you to keep coming back to our family’s restaurant for many years to come. Stopped before work after a 7 hour drive. Got the 1/2 lb peel and eat special with slaw. Shrimp was definitely not farm raised and cooked well. Was dead at 11:30a, couldn’t really speak to the atmosphere but the service was great!

Hands down better burgers than the Rocky Mount Burger Co! We came at the end of the night so it was a bit chaotic in the dining room, but definitely a neat old space. All the employees were very kind and took good care of us. It was better than expected, food speaks for itself!

You walk in and can tell they used to be a great restaurant. First impression is somewhat stale and not updated. Bathrooms were extremely unappealing and dusty. Nice meeting room for large parties. Waiting staff was super friendly as they are family owned and operated. Food was actually good and would have received 4 starts except for the bathrooms and overall dated appearance. Background music was from the 50’s-60’s.

Lovely restaurant. If you need adult time in the bar area with a live band then this is your place. Plenty of tables for dining with family and friends Take out or dine in. The food is delicious. The wait staff is awesome. If you get a salad try the homemade thousand island dressing. Meeting the owners was great (She’s pictured)

Went there for my birthday meal on 7/22. The food was absolutely delicious. Service was awesome. We had a party of six with some very heavy appetites and we didn’t go without. The waitress was very nice and answered all our questions. I will definitely be returning. If you pass through Rocky Mount, Va, do yourself a favor and check them out!

Our first time eating here and it won’t be our last. Everything we got was so good! Our waiter Carson was great! The best spinach and artichoke dip I’ve ever eaten. The onion rings were so good and my husband said the hamburger was the best he’s ever eaten.

We had been recommended to try this restaurant. We were greeted with signs all over the door to be patient due to staffing. We had no issues waiting a little while so we went on in. We were greeted by a friendly hostess and sat immediately with no one waiting. We were then ignored for almost 15 minutes. We were passed by two different waitresses and both never would slow down or look our way to even take our order. As we decided to walk out one of the two that ignored us walked by and laughed, not saying it was directed toward us but then said have a good night.

I took a special guest to dinner on Friday, August 11, I have to say I was terribly disappointed. It was very hot and uncomfortable, the service was exceptionally slow and the young man serving us tried to do his best however he was not trained correctly.

Our waitress had the personality of a cactus, if that cactus could roll its eyes constantly and didn’t want to be at work. It’s overpriced you might as well get beef jerky instead of a steak, the fried shrimp are just precooked shrimp that no one decided to season and fry they were tasteless and disgusting
