Aloha! Da Taste now under new Ownership as of July 1st 2023. We’re transitioning into a sports bar and bringing a lot of delicious smoked favorites and unique finger food “pupu’s” favorites accommodating great TASTE that Kona Town will be WOWED with. Drove down from Waikola and it was well worth it. Some of the best tacos I’ve had. The brisket was exquisite and the drinks excellent. Philip the host, was a gentleman and accommodated us even though we got there after the kitchen closed. Highly recommended.

This is a new sit-down version of Ohana Q. Everything we tried here was amazing and the folks are really nice. I wasn’t expecting the dates to be my favorite but they were probably one of the best things I’ve ever tasted. The BBQ shrimp and pulled pork sundae were awesome too (ask for extra bbq sauce!) There’s also nice outdoor seating and a full bar with several local beers on tap.

We ate Brisket and Cubana Sandwich at Ohana Q and they were delicious. Then we wanted an espresso coffee and we went to Da Taste. The owner was extremely kind and helpful, and he prepared us one of the best coffees in Hawaii even if it wasn’t on the menu. Truly a wonderful experience
