Run don’t walk to the Falafel Shack! We were in town for work and this place popped up as highly recommended! We had a really great meal and the hospitality was top notch! Garnett, our waiter, was busy with waiting all the tables himself but managed perfectly and was super to all of us. We enjoyed our table on the front patio and wow our food came out smoking hot and really fast! Spice level was just enough to make you want some water but not too overpowering where it hides the flavor of the food! I especially loved the fresh pita and the crispy onions on top of my meal. You can see and taste the love put into each meal! If I’m ever in town again, I’ll be visiting!

This is me and my partner’s favorite spot since moving here and we try to visit as often as we can for our dates! We’ve tried pretty much everything on the menu and it’s all been delicious. The specials have been amazing too! Extremely kind and caring owners and staff, plus the whole place just has such welcoming and happy energy. Please get yourself some Masala Fries with whatever you order!! I really cannot put into words how much I adore this place.

I was traveling down I-81 and decided to stop at Falafel Shack for a late lunch, early dinner. The place has a fun, bohemian vibe. My server was super chill, but also helpful and attentive. I started with the Falafel Shack Hummus and added Za’atar seasoning. I love both, but never had them together and knew they would go well together, which they did. The hummus was super creamy and delicious. It was served with pita, which was hot, fresh and delicious. I would have like to have had more though. I also had the special of the day – Piyaju which are lentil and onion fritters with a curry. They had great flavor but a couple were well over-done, and to be honest, burnt. (see picture). And with any fried item, that has onion, burnt = bitter. I also tried one Falafel, because after all it’s the Falafel Shack! It was delicious. Overall a very good experience and I would certainly try them again if I was in the area. In terms of other items: I parked on the street with no issue, but it is metered parking.

I dot get to Chambersburg often but make it a point to stop in Falafel Shack when I do. They have the best food in town. I have been here a handful of times and never had anything I didn’t like. This is the Chana masala and a naan bread on the side. So good I wanted to keep eating but got full and had to bring some home. I got a slice of cake to go and that was light and very tasty as well. Staff are always friendly and welcoming. They really are top notch.

Very flavorful and not a typical restaurant. The staff and owner were wonderful! We ate outside and just enjoyed the food at a casual pace. The dishes are plated with care and the portions are good. Be adventurous and try some new flavors! Like the Persian Love Cake!
