Our 1st visit in July was alright. Cashier looked/acted like she would rather be somewhere else having fun and the selection was sparse. Our visit this past weekend (8/19-20) was much better with a larger variety of kolaches that were quite tasty. Ordinarily I’d leave a 2-3 star/no comment review, which I actually did after the July visit, but as our experience was improved, both Saturday & Sunday, I’ve upgraded to 4*. Hope next time we’re back in Georgetown, TX the service/selection will be the same or better than this past weekend.

Ordered online for pickup and only two of my 14 items were hot. I ordered 2 of each of the items and some were so cold they were hard. Everything was mixed up and couldn’t even tell which flavor was which (without opening them).

Some of the sweet ones are ok but the rest get microwaved on order. Some of especially the egg ones are way undercooked and often don’t even have everything they’re supposed to. The breakfast tacos well they had an singular taco. Both us and the people right after us were missing items from our orders. When we told them they said “we’ll we didn’t charge you for them.” Honestly the ones you get at QT are better.

I keep going back here- each time so desperately wanting it to be different. No matter which egg kolache I order off the menu, they are all undercooked, soggy dough on the top and the filling is still cool. I don’t know if they are frozen and reheated in a microwave on order (or what is going on), but they taste so good. The flavor of the dough and the filling is just fabulous. I take my egg kolaches home and broil 3-4 min- the top gets cooked and the insides warm up and they are just perfect. I really wish the restaurant could serve them that way! Egg kolaches get 2 stars. My kiddos get the sausage kolaches and their dough is always fine- 4 stars for the sausage kolaches- thus the 3 star overall rating. I wish they could become a solid 4/5 star place. They have all the potential but something isn’t quite working.

Its hit or miss. The gravy and jalapeño popper are good. But the last few times I had any with egg, they were barely filled. If you want them warm you have to ask, otherwise you get them cold.

A place that says it sells kolaches and makes ACTUAL kolaches! Incredibly fast service and friendly staff, it’s no wonder there is always someone in line. The rest of the menu is excellent too, but the kolaches are where they shine.

We always go here to get kolache‘s and to get the cream cheese and strawberry bread but they have failed me already three times that they don’t put the sweet bread after ordering it which is messed up bc we are paying for it to not ever receive it in my bag
