I cannot wait to go back! Got the abulita’s gorditas and was just like the arepas my family from Colombia make! The carne asada burrito and lime guacamole bowl with lemon tart desert. ALL VEGAN! Best Mexican food ❤️

I had it all wrong with healthy and vegan. This place was actually ok. What I had was good, what I shared was good. Wet burrito and the ceviche tostada. I actually wasn’t looking much at what it had or not.. I was hungry. it just looked plenty for two. Boy was I wrong in that it can feed three people at least. Oh their pineapple cucumber water tasty. Clean spot. Very bright, nice little place.

It was a greatly clean place, very nice service, but the food was less than expected. The pozole was not well seasoned, kind of blend oily watery taste. Guacamaya wrap was average. flour tortilla was ok, but the filling with jackfruit was very much about pepper and it didn’t really felt fresh, it felt more like canned food. I appreciate that there is a lot of other things to buy, like mini store inside. Deserts, smoothies, ice-cream, chocolate etc.

Food tastes great, fast service and beautiful decoration but terribly overpriced. The Guacamaya wrap was very tasty, flavorful and the wheat tortilla was slightly toasted so it was a bit crunchy. The Lime Chipotle salad was excellent, it comes with a generous portion of grilled portobello mushrooms and lots of baby spinach. The ultimate torta was great too, lots of flavorful chorizo and crunchy fresh bread. I wouldn’t recommend the aguas frescas, not so much flavor or value on them. The location is very nice and there’s plenty of parking.

The food here is AMAZING! The portions are generous, the food is flavorful and filling, and the service is great. Whether you’re a vegan, a vegetarian or a carnivore, you’ll enjoy Guacamaya’s take on Mexican food. Their aqua frescas are really good too, we tried the cucumber lemonade and mango, and it was perfect for washing down all the great food we ate. It was our first time here, and we definitely plan on coming back… repeatedly! LOL…. So glad there are more creative restaurants serving delicious food in Downey now.

Their serving portions are a good size, the Horchata not too sweet but just right. Comfortable and at the time that we came quiet. Had the Breakfast Bowl delicious, thrown that I couldn’t get a nice warm coffee but overall satisfied.
