Would highly recommend. My family had the pepperoni pizza, Eggplant parmesan over ziti, cheesy garlic bread, and Philly cheesesteak sandwich. Everything came out wonderful. There is a bit of a wait but no different than other restaurants I’ve been to. Wait was about 15 min.

This was my first time trying Giovanni’s after living in Hoboken for four years, and I kind of wish I tried it sooner. We kept our NYE tradition of ordering a pizza, but this year, we got to order a couple of pies since we were having some friends over and were planning to stay in. We ordered the Giovanni’s Special pizza (Pepperoni, mushroom, sausage, peppers, and onion) and the Chicken Bacon Ranch pizza. Both were a hit. Honestly, you can’t go wrong with the special pizza. It’s a classic. The CBR as well – what’s not to love about it? But people seemed to like the special more since that one was all gone. The CBR didn’t heat up that well the next day because the chicken and bacon becomes dried out. Guess that’s just a sign to eat it all on the first day!

if i could give zero stars i would. my boyfriend & i… both poc (people of color) walked in there and were treated disgustingly. staff memeber was literally laughing and smiling genuinely and his entire face shifted as soon as my boyfriend (darkskin man) walked in. my boyfriend asked how he was doing, he said “good” and completely started talking about what food we wanted. they weren’t completely horrible to me as i am lighter but PLEASE whatever you do, do not support them. ESPECIALLY if you are a person of color. the owner even scolded at my boyfriend for using “his” bathroom and not buying food… as if they didn’t completely treat us with racism. i hope their business gets shut down. on top of that, the prices are absurd. just stay away, seriously.

Stumbled upon this amazing place 2 years ago during the summer of 2020 and have gone here a good 10 times in those 3 years. I have had their typical Cheese Pie, their Margarita, their Sicilian Pizza slice their Pepperoni Pizza, and their Mozzarella Sticks. I ordered 2 large pies the pizza had a good taste but one of my pies I ordered sausage topping on the pie for $20. It tasted good but not enough sausage only a few pieces on each slice. For $3 for extra toppings on a pie I highly recommend more sausage on the pizza.
