We have eaten here 2 times. The Kalua burrito, hands down the best, comes with pineapple salsa. The portions are large, and the price is worth every bite! The menu has changed, this is the updated one.

We just got the Kayla pork burrito, and we did not think it was worth the price at all. The burrito was $18 but we could hardly taste the pork and it was such a small amount of it. It was not super flavorful, as we really could only taste the eggs and tater tots. It was a good typical burrito but definitely not worth the price.

AMAZING FOOD! We visited Wake Up Delicious 4 times during our 11 night stay (mid April 2021)….the food is outstanding. It’s so good we only managed to snap one picture (this trip)! The churro french toast is absolutely to die for, probably the most decadent carb overload you’ll ever experience, but it’s totally worth it! Fisherman’s breakfast Bagel was super tasty. The Kauai garlic shrimp is always delicious and the sweet and spicy coconut shrimp is out of this world. Best mac salad on the island. We also tried the fuzzy nut cold brew and lilikoi cupcakes – both were great. We received next level customer service from the staff, but the same can’t be said of the owner. On a busy morning, while waiting for our takeout order, I took a seat at a table not in use (had sealed to go containers and cups on the table), as to not take up a table for people dining in. The owner asked me to move rather abrasively, which I did, completely understanding her concerns with covid protocols. She cleared off the table, and eventually a group of 6 approached the table. With the assistance of dine-in patrons, they started pulling additional chairs that weren’t in use to accommodate their party. The owner came out and said something to the effect of don’t rearrange my dining room. Everyone in the dining area exchanged troubled glances. She quickly walked back her harsh statement by implying she would have done it for them had they only asked and began setting up the table. It was very uncomfortable and that’s the only reason I’m not giving 5 stars.

We stopped by yesterday to get coffee and the food looked so good we got a plate lunch too. No regrets! The Cold Brew Mocha and chicken lunch were both great. The items to buy in store were super cute as well.

MOST BAD REVIEWS ARE ABOUT SERVICE, NOT FOOD. BEST FOOD OF MY LIFE! I was originally deterred with the negative review, but after reading them…most of them were about the service which wasn’t nearly as bad as everyone that left a negative review said. With that being said, the food was literally some of the BEST food we have ever had..in our lives!! Amazing, no other words can express how good it was, especially the cinnamon churro French toast!

Came for breakfast with my family of 4 on a Monday. When we arrived it was very busy with a long line out the door. We waited and the line moved quickly enough. We ordered our food (quite a bit for four people) and we’re given a 30 minute estimate. Food came in 15 minutes and was extremely good!! Flavor on the Fisherman’s Breakfast was incredible! Would come back and eat again.
