Only in the cold north can you find fried pickles and cheese as an appetizer! This is one of our favorite stops when we come to town for the boat races. The Thai chicken salad was great. Flatbreads were really flavorful. Friendly efficient service. Thanks, guys!

We were in town for a wedding & wanted to eat something local for breakfast – couldn’t be happier with our choice!! I had sweet cakes + cheesy hash, both some of the tastiest I’ve ever had. My husband had the ranger feast and said it was one of the best breakfasts he’s ever had (he is the pickiest person no matter if it’s a 5-star or local diner), which is huge!! The staff HUSTLED and were not only great workers but FRIENDLY to each other and customers. It’s hard to find people that want to work these days much less enjoy their work, so kudos y’all. They were busy, but we were in and out in an hour. Keep it up! If we are ever around these parts again- we will be back here.

This place used to be really great but the last few times we’ve ordered take out we’ve been very disappointed. The food taste good but the portion sizes aren’t big enough to feed a child let alone an adult. We ordered the Short Ribs and walleye cakes from the Minnesota special menu and there are only 2 small sized cakes and one of the cakes were completely broken apart and we’re not even sure it was a full one. The Short rib was good but very small, and the veggies were undercooked. Hardly $20 worth for 1 meal. After spending $50 total on dinner we are still hungry and about to cook dinner ourselves at home.

We received menus when we arrived. However after that nobody came to take our drink order or our food order. Waited 30 minutes for service! Watched others walk in and get their orders taken but nobody came to us. We were right next to other tables being served so I know they saw us. I don’t know if it was communication between the servers on who had our table but we did not have the time to wait any longer and ended up leaving. We really wanted to try this place out on our way through town but couldn’t .
