I was coming off day 3 of WonderCon. We were exhausted & hungry. I picked up some snacks from a local vegan vendor after the con. I asked her for food recommendation. She said Chicana Vegana was her favorite local place. It looked so good & we were starving at this point. Parking was full, but not horrible for Sunday evening. The locale was small with small tables, so not good for groups. Apart from that, the vibes were cute & good. Cashier was nice with a great smile. The restroom was clean. Food was ready fairly quick. All the food was good. Nothing outstanding; still delicious. The vegan Al Pastor was one of the better ones I’ve had. My friend who is not vegan was happy with his tacos. We will definitely be coming back if we ever find ourselves in Anaheim again (yes, yes we will).

Best nachos I’ve ever had. The cashew cheese and cashew sour cream taste amazing, they are not too nutty or chalky. They are smooth and flavorful. I wish that they had more locations closer to LA and Hollywood. So worth the drive. The only downside is the amount of single use plastic and other materials that aren’t easily recycled or composted.

We decided to try this place out instead of going to the Vegan fair. I’m sure glad we did. We ordered a couple Asada tacos, and two burritos. These burritos are huge. They remind me of Cali Tacos. You could easily give these to a non Vegan and they wouldn’t know the difference. We both loved the tacos too. Our tummies were happy when we left. Everything on the menu looked so good, we can’t wait to come back. I noticed they have a loyalty program so we’ll sign up for that next time

This was one of the best vegetarian restaurants in Southern California. The psychedelic art reminding me of funkadelic and Parliament in the 1970s George Clinton. All the food was delicious as you can see the photos below I mean absolutely delicious. I wish I can give this place a six star instead of a five star. This is a very upbeat hip restaurant the staff were very friendly so many smiles and genuine connection. The french fries oh my God where I don’t know where they got those french fries from maybe from heaven. The chili cheese fries were great too could have eased up on the sodium a little bit but I guess that’s just a personal choice. The vegan burgers oh my God they put veggie grill to shame. The nachos were amazing oh my God they were out of this world. Everyone needs to go check out this restaurant it should be in Hollywood somewhere and if it was it would be the top vegetarian restaurant. If these restaurants could get a #Michelinstar this restaurant most definitely would for my personal opinion.
