Friendly helpful service and great food! The lamb seekh kabob was flavorful and tender. The butter chicken and garlic naan were predictable but good. The mango lassi was good and not too sweet.

We ordered the chicken biriyani and it tasted like they have just mixed the rice with the curry.

I ate here 3 times. the first time I ordered Desi Fuska(basically pani puri). the potatoes were put into the crisp and sat before serving me which caused it to be soggy when I was served. The first time I ordered the Samosa chat it was delicious. flavorful, chickpeas were soft spicy and had some gravy to them. My 2nd visit I ordered chicken Tikka Masala. It was about 5 very, very small pieces of chicken in what tasted like pure tomato sauce(very small serving), not worth the price. The 3rd time I returned because I wanted more of the samosa chat. I also decided to try the hot chotpoti. It was TERRIBLE, looked nothing like the picture, dry, not hot or spicy, no flavor, just thrown together. Also this time the Samosa chat was terrible, also dry, hardly any chutney. I was very disappointed in the food and the lack of consistency in food quality. And I eat Indian food every week from different restaurants in Phila and DE county so I have a lot experience in what it should taste like. One good thing that stayed consistent was the Laccha Paratha bread, it was good all 3 times I ordered it.

Fuchka is great here! That’s the only reason I love this place. The Thai soup is delicious as well. I had tried their kacchi biriyani and beef biriyani, not the best, and there’s definitely room for improvement. We did take out once, and the salad were not fresh at all, I would rather not have them. I’ll still be back to try other items. The environment is okay, and service can be a little bit better. Overall, I really wish this restaurant to do well, because I want to come back to get the flavor of Bangladesh. (Please make sure the quality of the food is good, that’s all that matters).

It was my son’s birthday and holy month of Ramadan. My son wanted to have something from a restaurant. We just moved to Pennsylvania from New York. My son likes lollipop chicken and other Chinese food. So we ordered some lollipops, shrimp fried rice, chicken fried rice, beef behari kabab, and cajun fries and were expecting to have a good iftar ( dinner). Unfortunately none of the items were even close to good enough in order to eat. As it was for Iftar, and we didn’t have any other food ready, we were bound to eat some of the food. Most of the fried rice went to garbage. Lollipops didn’t look like lollipop and didn’t taste like lollipops. They were rather cheaply fried “fried chicken “. Fries didn’t look like regular fries rather boiled and tasted terrible. Behari kabab didn’t even look like kabab. Tasted very very awful. Unbelievable!! I never thought that I would ever have to buy something from a restaurant like these terrible looking awful tasting food. I felt embarrassed and ashamed in front of my son. Anything from any where else I believe definitely would be far better than these terrible items. NEVER AGAIN ANYTHING FROM THAT RESTAURANT.
