My first experience dining here about 10 years ago was excellent. I hadn’t returned since then however, and when we went again a few weeks ago for my birthday, I was not as impressed. The meat part of our entrees was very good, but the sides were bland and didn’t seem like much effort was put into them at all. I will allow for the fact that there was a snow storm that evening, but we already had a reservation so we kept it anyway. We might give it one more try in better weather to see if that may have been part of the problem, but overall, it cost much more than it seemed worth. Service was pretty good in spite of the mediocre food.

Great birthday dinner. Coconut shrimp for two of us and rib eye steaks for two others. All were excellent with varied sides and a pretzel roll appetizer which looked like buckeyes with cheesy sauce. Drinks and wine all around. Good service too. Busy place for a week night.

What kind of restaurant has Prime Rib as their special, yet carries so little of it! Had reservations, get seated at 5:30 and a place that opens at 4pm is already out of it! When told we were leaving because that is what we had come for were told if we wanted to be sure to get some you have to order it TO GO and call as soon as they open. Just a heads up for others in advance!

We had a very good experience. Walked in 8:00pm and was seated right away. Ordered the 14 oz ribeye steak, smoked prime rib and the lasagna. All were excellent! Tried the crockpot potatoes and they were a bit on the bland side. Service was quick and friendly. Meals came quick and hot.

We were there on New Years Eve. Seating was immediate with reservations. The server stopped regularly to check on us. It was wonderful not to feel rushed through the meal. We had plenty of time to enjoy the food and converse with friends.

For Waverly, this place is pretty good. I went there after hearing good things about it. It was good, not great. Salad came drowning in dressing. I had ordered the beer battered shrimp with crock pot potatoes. The potatoes were bland and the shrimp had little to no seasoning. The shrimp dipping sauce was fantastic though. The service was good, the building was nice.

This place is amazing. The food is delicious and the service is top notch. The BBQ ribs were smoked and cooked to perfection. I highly recommend this place to eat. You won’t regret eating here. One of my favorite places to go in Waverly.

I had the Chicken Alfredo and my husband had the Ribeye steak. Loved the food as well as the friendly employees. First time and it was a hit. Can’t wait til I bring the rest of my family. Date night for us tonight. Can’t say enough good complements about Waterstreet Grill.

I showed up to eat at the bar on a Saturday night. Had no problem getting seated. Unfortunately that is where the positives end. I knew what I wanted before I arrived so I ordered fairly quickly. I ordered the Ribeye Medium Rare and fries with a salad with only lettuce, cheese and ranch. When my salad arrived, it had tomato, cucumber, and croutons. My steak arrived a short time after. It was almost Medium Well and the fries were as bland as humanly possible. I waited for the bartender to come over to me so I could replace my steak. It took 10 minutes for him to come over. By that time I’d finished what few fries I wanted. He grabbed my plate and took it down to the kitchen to be replaced. He came back only a short while later with a steak that was basically rare. Not only was the steak not cooked the right temperature, it was unconscionably unseasoned. The only seasoning on the steak was the grill itself. One of the worst steaks I’ve ever had. I can’t imagine going back ever. I wouldn’t recommend it in any way.
