Lets Get It!! Location is awesome, plenty of parking and a lot more space within and out from their typical locations. Seat reservation available via online. Understanding this is a new location, they have some improvement as I’m sure they’ve been overworked. Location was clean besides the bathrooms and the wooden floors throughout had a slick slippery like substance on it. Walking to the bathroom felt slightly like I was on ice (grease maybe?). Food was not as expected. Smash Burger was very dry, absolutely loved the combination of ingredients but hard to enjoy with dry Pattie’s. Fries came out cold for multiple orders and cheesecake came out frozen. Cocktails had great flavor but hardly no alcohol. Food took a long time to get, so trying to send everything back would have been difficult. I will for sure be back to see if it got any better as this is not their typical standard or experience.

Casual, cool vibe, lots of bar, indoor, and patio seating. Our server was so friendly and helpful. They offer a brunch menu til 3 pm Saturday and Sunday. Would definitely go back!

So happy to see that they opened a location in Livonia! The food and service was excellent and my favorite items were the pretzel nuggz and the bar zee dbl smash burger. Will definitely coming back to try more off their menu.

HopCat Livonia literally just opened on Monday (Their grand opening is this coming Saturday) but even with how new they are and how packed they were on their third official day open ~ everything was EXCELLENT. We all agreed the cosmik fries were worth the wait (and strongly recommend dipping them in the cheese dip) preztel nugs and Smashburgers were great A+ 10/10 stars.

The drinks were excellent. We ordered fish and chips, and wings. Both plates were not very good. Fish unseasoned, poor quality and heavily battered. The wings were a little better, not much though! We informed the server the food was not hot, he offered to microwave it!

I went during the grand opening. It seemed like they had some kinks to still work out so I won’t hold it against them and give another shot. The fries and most of the food were good. Drinks were excellent. My only complaint is that they seemed so overwhelmed that they forgot about the food under the heat lamp. My chicken sandwich was good but the bun was hard as a rock from sitting under a hear lamp. Everything else was delicious! The wait staff was amazing, fun to talk to and very attentive considering how packed the place was. I will definitely be giving this place another shot to make my meal better.

This location looks beautiful and has a great atmosphere but definitely has some kinks to work out. We went in on a Sunday afternoon for lunch and were seated right away. My husband and I ordered nachos to share and two kids meals. The food took an hour to come to our table. The waitress was lovely and kept apologizing and said she even spoke to the manager. The manager, however, never came to our table. The nachos were cold and soggy by the time they came out. My daughter’s burger had no cheese or toppings and was extremely over cooked. The best meal was my son’s chicken tenders. We were so hungry at this point we didn’t want to send the food back and wait even longer. I really feel there should have been some compensation at this point for such a long wait when the restaurant was not very busy. Hoping they improve in the future.

I wanted to give this new location a huge shout out! They been open for less than a month and my family and I have been here twice. We have received excellent service from entry to exit during each visit. The food was great. Drinks we Lee great and it’s been an overall great ambiance. Shout out to our server EMMA she was very knowledgeable of the food and drink menu and recommended some excellent beer flight options. We truly enjoyed her presence and amazing personality. We look forward to requesting her again! Great job to the whole staff! You guys are all doing amazing!

If this was my first time at Hopcat, I would never return. I am already addicted to the fries after several visits in Ann Arbor and Detroit, so I’m sure we will be back, but we won’t be in a rush to visit Livonia again. I really hope it’s growing pains of a new location, but our visit left much to be desired. We arrived at 5pm on a Thursday and we were told 25 min for a table, which we found perfectly reasonable. We were seated after about 40 min. Our waitress took a little longer than expected to take our drink order, but she was very pleasant overall. After our drinks came, we had to wait again to place our order since someone else delivered the drinks. Once we placed our food order (4 people), we waited over an hour for food and were never updated or checked on in the meantime. My burger was quite dry and the cheese sauce for the fries seemed runny compared to other locations. There were signs everywhere advertising a Thursday special for a beer, burger and fries for $8 from 3-6pm, which is exactly what we ordered. We wound up ordering just after 6pm due to the delays in being seated and being able to place our order, so the special pricing was not given to us…. so the dry burger and fries with a beer was $24 instead of $8. It’s a lovely location, but we won’t be itching to go back. The drive to Ann Arbor or Detroit might be worth the better experience.
