Today was our first visit. I had the fish and chips. Both were good but the chips were uniquely great. One recommendation would be to have a two piece option for the fish for those who may not need as much. The place was also basically spotless.

Ordered crab cake sandwiches and fries. The crab cakes were so hot that we each had to take the sandwich apart and wait for it to cool down. I burned my mouth with the first bite. They had absolutely no flavor at all.

The Poboy was okay. The fish was cooked to perfection, portions slightly small for a traditional poboy. The bread wasn’t great. What was supposed to be a horseradish potato salad was very bland. No horseradish at all. In fact, it was more flavorless than a standard potato salad. However, I would eat here again.

Stopped in for lunch with my relatives & we were pleasantly surprised with how delicious the food was! We all had po boys- shrimp po boys & an oyster po boy. We also enjoyed The Crabman Fries. The “tar tar” sauce they gave for the po boys was AMAZING.

My GF and I stopped in to Fat Crab Cafe for the first time today. She got the Salmon Salad and I got the Shrimp Po Boy w/ Cole Slaw. Both our meals were very good, and Service was GR8. We will be returning, to sample some other items on menu! Keep Up The Fantastic Job!!

Best Seafood spot in town!! The staff is very friendly and they take pride in their food. It’s a place you’ll find yourself coming back to over and over again.My go-to is the crab cake sandwich and just in case you want a little extra, throw in a cup of the clam chowder soup.
