We’ve enjoyed this restaurant twice now, with both experiences exceeding our expectations. We had a mixed group, with some young adults, older adults and an elderly grandmother. Everyone loved it. The vibe is sophisticated but not stuffy. With lots of glass windows and doors, it feels very connected to the outside, which is great because the landscaping here is a real treat, lots of native plants, sparkling lights and little walkways everywhere. The food was wonderful. Our guests especially enjoyed the calamari, salmon and the lemon polenta cake. Side dishes are large enough for sharing.

The ambiance here is great with a beautiful setting. The service was very good. I take off stars for the food. It was hit and miss…some things were great, some disappointing. In particular I was disappointed by the lobster spaghetti. The menu description made me think I would be getting a fresh summery pasta dish. And while there was a decent amount of lobster, it was all covered in a heavy brown gravy-like sauce that was not light or summery or a pleasure to eat. And the charred octopus was not as good as before as they somehow made that heavy as well this time around, and covered it with some kind of sauce that wasn’t there in the past. The meatballs were as good as ever however.

We stumbled upon Ami’s spontaneously on our drive home from KoP. It turned out to be a cozy and clean spot with amazing food and service! My fiancé and I opted for bar seats on a Friday evening and were taken care of by Erica. She was super friendly and made yummy drinks! When the food came out, it was perfectly warm and seasoned well. Portions were well worth the money. They clearly pay attention to customer service, flavor, temperature, and texture. We will definitely return!

Servers and seating hostesses are very nice here! They made my Labrador feel very welcome. He asked me to rate 5/5 stars and said he will be back.

The food here was delicious!!! I just ate appetizers because I was afraid the entrees would be too big. Definitely worth it. It’s a touch hard to find the location, as the signage isn’t super prominent. Parking is easy and plenty of it

We ordered four different pasta. The one for a kid came with no salt at all, the carbonara one came normal dente, cicio and paper was way too salty – barely eatable. The last one was good one. So it is only 25% chance to get decent pasta.

1st time eating at Amis and we will definitely be back. We were given small complimentary appetizers and cannolis for dessert which was a nice touch. The service and food was incredible. Highly recommend, great value.

The food was amazing! My server was attentive without being making me feel rushed. The atmosphere is beautiful especially when light enough to see beautiful flowers next door (Terrain). Highly recommend this place.

We decided to try Amis after having dined at the (old) Amis back in Center City a few years ago. I understand that Vetri sold the restaurant, but this was a harsh downgrade. The food was eh but the service was horrendous. I’ve never had such a condescending waiter in my life. If the restaurant is reading this, I will gladly volunteer his name. The menus are wooden and he proceeded to basically throw them at our table. He was very pushy and questioned all our selections though he was very inattentive & slow (took us almost 20 mins to get our bill). The staff proceeded to put the hottest plates right in front of our toddler…like c’mon, guys.
