I used to go here in the late 60’s and early 70’s. I remember the place as a teenage hangout after games and on most any Friday night. The pizza and antipasto salad have the same fantastic taste I remember. The fried pickles are great, too. It’s a very nice place with friendly, attentive staff.

Best pizza around! Love the thin crust & they pile on the toppings. And we always get the cauliflower, can’t go there without it. I’m seriously going to miss this place. It holds so many childhood memories for my mom, me, & my kids. I wish the family nothing but the very best in their future endeavors.

We ordered Stromboli and spinach salad. After taking our order, our waitress came back and told us that they were out of fresh mushrooms for the salad. We asked for the canned mushrooms and blue cheese on the side. When she brought our salad, it was spinach and bacon only. She did not say until we asked, that they were also out eggs and onions! Our second time there. First time was great. Second time a disappointment.

I was a member of a party of four on a Wednesday evening. We sat in a booth, but moved to a table because the booth seemed small with insufficient leg room. The place is very casual and probably does more carry out than dine-in, because the dining room wasn’t very busy and the food was great! The Johnny Bites appetizer was garlicky and crunchy and doughy, served with a delicious meat sauce. The Stromboli (half-off on Wednesday) is so good – the crust, the cheese, the fillings, and again – the sauce! The antipasto salad was also very tasty, as was the house Italian dressing. One of our party tried the ratatouille (fettuccine with Italian sausage and herbed sauce) – we were convinced that the pasta was made in-house, and the sausage was yummy. Can’t wait to go back and try the meatballs!

Spoke with the owners today when I called to order. Though it was too late to place an order, they were so incredibly apologetic and sweet. We have ordered from them many, many times and really enjoy the food and when the doors are open, the service is always phenomenal as well! Hosted a graduation party for 100 guests at John’s in June of 2016. It went so well, we hosted a baby shower for 30 attendees there yesterday (a year later). Both times, everything was perfect. The food, the service, not a single complaint. Easy parking, with a direct entrance into a private dining room. Fresh, hot food keeps coming, all your guests can eat, right up until your party ends. Even latecomers are able to eat as much and as many times as they want. The prices are reasonable, the variety of choices is extensive. Pizza and lasagna are our “go to” favorites. They are great people to work with and are very accommodating. Our guests at both events raved about the food. The service is beyond superb. They do an outstanding job. My family highly recommends John’s Pizzeria of Fenton. (We order their pizza – some of the best around – as take dinner very often.) 5 Stars for service, quality and flavor!

Went for a high school sports banquet. They couldn’t seem to produce more than a pizza every ten minutes for a room full of people. Poor planning or cheap. Not sure which. The place was pretty dingy and run down. Bathrooms were filthy and stunk. Pizza was sub-par. Service was mediocre. Maybe it was a bad experience because it was a banquet, but I wouldn’t return.

I don’t understand why pizza places are so skimpy on the sauce. Knowing that this is the tendency, we usually ask for extra sauce which we did tonight. But not only did we not get extra, it was hard to tell there was sauce on it at all. Very disappointed. This has potential to be a great pizza. We may try again some time.

Came for a Comedy show. Something to just get away. First, the show was Great. Second, the FOOD was phenomenal. Coming from just over two hours away, this trip was a success. OH, the hospitality was FABULOUS. Would recommend this establishment whether visiting the area or just driving through. This is a MUST STOP is you love PIZZA with fresh dough!!!!!! Next time we will take the kids for PIZZA.
