We’ve eaten breakfast here at least a half dozen times. Their coffee is always good, the decaf too. There’s a wide variety of items on the menu. Hash browns are usually crispy and their cooking oil doesn’t have an “old” taste to it, like some of their competitors. I like the smoked sausage. The lunch menu has a lot of choices too. The owner and staff have always been friendly, courteous, with pretty quick service. Very competitive prices!

Drove here after visiting the famous flea market. Was warmly greeted. They serve breakfast all day and I love biscuits with gravy. Did not disappoint. The rest of my part liked their meals as well. Very reasonably priced and great food. Highly recommend!

The Dora Cafe is located directly across the street from brand new Mount Dora fire station 35. Friendly, comfortable breakfast and lunch restaurant with nice people. Food is good, as is the service. Closed on Tuesdays

I waited for about 5 mins before being acknowledged I was there.I only ordered fries to go. Fries were good. I want to dine in and actually sit and have a meal here before I give a true review. It is a small mom and pop restaurant but food smelled wonderful!

I saw this place very packed on a Friday after Thanksgiving morning and decided to try it out on Saturday morning. The place was okay, considering that I was a little hot inside. I ordered a basic cheese omelet with hashbrowns and raisins toast. The omelet was nicely filled with cheddar cheese, not my favorite but I am not sure if there was different cheese options as I wasn’t given any. The hashbrowns were pretty good though crispy on the outside and smooth in the inside. Coffee was good and so was the service. We got a nice friendly lady. We have eaten there at least 25 times. Always very pleased with the food as well as the prices BUT on our recent visit (Sat) we noticed the Cafe needs a deep clean. Bathroom: dirty. Ceiling fans: filthy. Floors: dirty. Window sills: dusty. Will have to think about returning. 🙁
