What’s the secret menu? Sure, I ordered the eggs with sausage, hash browns, sourdough toast, and coffee. I plan to order again! But what I want to order is hand printed on the board: dinner menu items Wed-Sunday! I want to try the prime rib! All the menu items (need to see the current board for specials) look tempting, and I’ve had their New York streak, yum, and I look forward to the prime rib! Note, Parking in front and back with back door access. Excellent service. Ok, the bathroom, is a bit smelly.

This is where you have to stop in the morning for big hungers! Pancakes are huge (and above all very good) and in a dinner like we don’t do them anymore! The service is very pleasant. I highly recommend! (Parking in front of or in a nearby street)

Clean place, tasty dishes (I am a VERY picky person though…). The waitress was kind and quick – and did not take notes, remembered all the orders and nailed it all. Definitely recommend the place to all.

Small diner, but easy to find a table on a Tuesday at noon. The omlettes were HUGE and tasty. Hash browns were good too. My 2yo enjoyed the blueberry pancakes (and so did I)! Street parking was easy to find.

We had a layover in SFO at the Aluxor hotel (also great) in San Bruno… wandered into Big Joes… The food was fabulous, portions were huge, the service was fabulous, & the atmosphere was fabulous. Right out of the 50s… make sure u go hungry 🙂

If you have a big appetite, this place is perfect, as the servings are pretty big. Great staff; friendly and attentive. This place seems to have a lot of regulars—nice to see. Very homey. Love my dish, even if I didn’t expect it to be so much!

Cozy, old timer atmosphere.. if you think you’re at the best spot.. then you haven’t tried Big Joe’s 8.. cooked to perfection. So far I’ve had sausage/ cheese omelet MMMMMM. and then I had chicken fried steak. I used a fork to cut thru.. yeah, it was that tender.. and the portion size is big. 2 people per plate big. Lots of parking in back, street parking in front. Great customer service. My hat’s off to the cook.
