I was so excited to try this place. I live in Miami and have seen it on TikTok a couple times. The only saving grace for the two stars and the experience was the sandwich. The “cheesy” aspect of the Mac and cheese was nonexistent. We were served butter noodles with remnants of shredded cheese spread throughout. The sweet potato biscuits were dense and disappointing, and the fries were regular. Not spectacular and could use more seasoning. It’s safe to say that the mark was missed, and I’m hoping it was just a bad day and not a universal experience. Pictures are attached.

I ate here 2x. Love the in store locker pick up idea. The locker will only open up for your order. This avoids any confusion. Inside is clean, menu is on the wall. There is a kiosk to order. This isn’t a sit down restaurant. I do wish there was a way to know an ETA on when your food will be done. After you order you just get a text that lets you know you will be informed when to pick up. I’ve tried their Mac and cheese which was cheesy. The chicken sandwich I had was excellent. Not sure how they get they chicken so tender, moist but still crispy. I got the medium which wasn’t too spicy. It was actually very mild. I also tried the hot chicken sandwich and it was very spicy. I don’t mind spicy I just think there needs to be a better balance of spice or kick between the medium and spicy sauces. The fried corn was small but good. I went back and tried the wings. The breading is soft and flaky which I enjoyed. Wings weren’t those small chicken wings. I tried the collard greens that day and I must say that they were salty so I didn’t enjoy or eat them. But I must say I got the banana pudding both days and it was amazing. That was a main reason I returned the second time. Price point is ok. There is parking in the back btw

Food truck at the Miami Grand Prix was awesome Friday 5 stars… great chicken sandwich, fries and Mac. I enjoyed the heat of the marinade a lot. Fries were crispy and fresh, Mac was delicious and cheese was thick and oily in a good way. I could tell it was quality. Sunday race day was a disaster here. They ran out of chicken sandwiches which is understandable, but kept taking orders… we waited in the pick up line for AN HOUR waiting on 3 tenders, fries and Mac. They were still taking orders and it was clear nobody had any idea what was going on. Felt like I was watching a reality tv show. Ended up running out of fries too, so they gave us extra tenders. It was the DIRTIEST NASTIEST CHICKEN TENDERS I HAVE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE. Since they were out of fries they gave us double tenders. Gross. 1 star for Sunday. We ended up almost missing the start of the race and ran to our seats. Averages out to 3 stars since I loved my food Friday and love supporting them. Please please please learn from this.

Warning: This place has a delightful spicy fried chicken sandwich! You won’t find a better flavor that compliments the spice and heat from their sauce. Many restaurants advertise their stuff as spicy in Miami, but at Soulfly Chicken, If you’re not prepared to sweat for this flavor, stick to any spice level below Hot when you order. The Hot and Fire spice levels genuinely live up to their name, and as much as I was unprepared, I did not stop eating it because of how good it was.

Customer service is A1!. This is not a sit-down place. You order through a kiosk, and in less than ten minutes, your food is ready. I ordered the hot chicken ( flagship) sandwich. It is very hot, and it cleared my sinuses and burned my tongue. I suggest you start with the mild. The chicken was juicy and well seasoned. I love waffle fries, and I could have done my fries a little crisper, but it still was firm. Drumming from Jamaican heritage, the sweet potato biscuit is like a dessert. If you ever had bun and cheese, the sweet potato biscuit tastes just like the bun portion. Although, there are cheaper options to get a crispy chicken sandwich and fries, the extra dollars is well worth is not to deal with incompetent fast food workers messing up your order. I spent 20 dollars between the sandwich, biscuit, and fries.

Best chicken sandwich I have ever had!!! The chicken breast on the sandwich is huge so a great filling portion. The seasoning is on point. You can order with or without spice but spicy is the way to go! Sweet potato biscuit was fire. Tasted almost like a dessert. Never going to get fast food chicken again. The system of ordering is super cool. You put your phone number in and then your meal gets put in a locker that you unlock when it’s ready with your phone number. Loved that it wasn’t too fried. It was the perfect ratio of fried to chicken. Coming back ASAP. Extend your hours to catch the late night crowd!! 10/10
