We met a friend as a recommendation while being back in town (a little over a week ago, late posting). We were going to try the craft beers but they were a bit expensive so we went with the $3 well whiskey and coke. They were pretty good, price was great. We ate the pretzels and cheese and the cheese looked dry and reheated however it tasted pretty good. The pretzels were fluffy and soft and enjoyable. Overall way better experience than expected from the first impression of the outside. The lady working was nice and also enjoyable.

Great bar and Irish food. I don’t know what they do to their chicken batter but all their fried chicken dishes are amazing. Really anything fried here is top notch, especially the homemade chips. I’ve had most the dishes on the menu and have liked everything but the boxty, maybe they just aren’t for me. As for drinks they always have specials that are cheap and regular prices aren’t bad at all either. Fast and good service every time I’ve been.

The boxty is amazing. The fish and chips were a bit soft but they were good. The curry sauce was so yummy, but not enough on the curry fries app. If you are unsure if the American palette will like it, offer it on the side in a cup. Great Irish music, too.

Food was good. Service at 7pm on Saturday was not great. Door Dashers beware, their system DOESNT accept Dash Direct or they will runyour card for more than your recipiet. I had my card ran 7 times and locked for fraud. I couldn’t even pull out money from a local atm. No one was available to unlock my card. I will be letting DirectDash know but besides that- waitresses were not as friendly. If a card declines twice, don’t run it another 5 times. It wasn’t the best first experience for me. Food was great. Service and first impressions would have been better if my card wasn’t locked for fraud (even though there was plenty on the card to pay).

The food here was our amazing we had a vegetable boxty which was so good. I dislike vegetables but the pancake and sauce was perfect. I appreciated every bite I took. The sauces was a bit nutty but also very creamy and complimented the food great.

The killians Irish red beer was pretty good. My bf and I tried their loaded potato soup and chili, loved the toppings on the potato soup. The deep fried pickle spears were hot but delicious. My bf enjoyed the Reuben sandwich and I had ordered the loaded Irishman burger, each came with seasoned fries! To say the least we ordered to much food between the two of us. Everything was good and now we have leftovers for lunch tomorrow. They had great music and a good trivia game going on. Our waitress was nice but disappeared towards the end of our meal, not sure what happened but other servers were taking care of us in the meantime until she came back to give us the check.

Probably had the worst service I’ve ever had here today. Came at 4:45 on a Saturday with some friends. It wasn’t busy. We’ve been here before so we knew the food was good. After about five minutes, a server brought us some menus and said our server will be over soon. About 10 minutes later a guy came up to our table (Matt) and didn’t even take our order because he didn’t have a pen. Finally he came back with a pen and we ordered food and drinks. He didn’t know anything about the kids menu or what juices they had at the restaurant. We then waited another 10 minutes to receive our drinks. Only my friends got theirs. He brought two waters out on a tray. He had to come back to bring a kids orange juice. My husband and I never got our drinks. Ever. We ordered a water and coke. After about 30 minutes I went to the bar and asked for some drinks and brought them back to our table. He never noticed that he didn’t bring us drinks even though the glasses I got from the bar were different colors. When our food arrived, I asked for some silverware and our server started going off about how the “new girl” can’t ever remember to bring the silverware and literally started talking trash about her to us. He couldn’t even remember to bring us a coke and a water, I don’t think he should have been talking badly about someone else. Anyway, our service was extremely lacking and slow, and the “new girl” (Heather), was at least a nice friendly face and offered to get us drinks when we were talking to her while waiting to cash out. She apologized for our bad service and even defended our server, saying he was having a “bad day”. The food was great, but if this was my first experience here I wouldn’t come back.
