Cute restaurant in Cascade Cafe with Rob, the owner. We ordered a simple breakfast, eggs, biscuit, hasbrowns, bacon, and a cinamon roll on the side and a half order of biscuits and gravy. Homemade biscuits and sausage gravy were very good, not too thin, and not too heavy. Eggs and hasbrowns had distinct flavors but very tasty each on its own. Bacon was thick, I would like a little more bend but wasn’t too crispy. But the cinamon roll was yummy, bursting with cinamon and glazed to perfection. A great place to try out, friendly owner and staff.

Not sure what to highlight first, the people or the food! Food was a solid 9.2/10, but the people blew the scales out of the water! We were welcomed as soon as we came in, and you could tell the owner was humble and grateful to have us. Then as soon as we were seared, miss Jamie came and interacted with the entire family. Our kids are typically bashful but she made them laugh and they got comfortable enough where they started telling stories. It’d only be better if we could have kidnapped her to spend the day at Holiday World with us, she was an absolute joy.

Hungry, want a great breakfast…co.e to Cascade Cafe. If you go away hungry, it’s your own fault. Get there early for the breakfast casserole…its amazing. Home made biscuits and gravy were to die for.

Ferdinand Indiana has a new tourist spot, a very unique down home restaurant, with a wonderful staff, great food and a warm family atmosphere. Very unique architecture with doorways that must be 15 ft high, a must see place with a uniqueness you will not find anywhere else. When you come to Ferdinand you won’t want to miss this new tourist destination.

If you are looking for a breakfast that doesn’t come in a bag in Ferdinand, this is the place to go. Very nice people and amazing cinnamon rolls. The 7 of us all had different items and they were all good.

What a gem! A true example of top notch, exemplary hospitality and customer service from everyone there, plus the best cinnamon rolls I’ve ever had. What a peaceful way to start your day in this beautiful, light, airy restaurant. I also had the Haystack breakfast which was delicious. Stop in for a full breakfast or just a cinnamon roll and coffee or do what I did and have it all! You can easily eat here for under $10. You can also purchase some beautiful greeting cards to send or frame by “Busy Lizzie” one of the family members who operate the restaurant.

Simple but good! Just your standard breakfast fare of sausage, bacon, eggs, biscuits, gravy, and French toast. Nothing fancy, but it’s still good! Definitely recommend the muffins on special and the cinnamon rolls!

This place has all of the hometown feel. We were served on quickly and the ambience was just right for a cute little breakfast spot. Rob came to welcome us within 5 minutes of us being seated, which really placed the cherry on top. We love to see small business flourish in Dubois County!

Very friendly and relaxing atmosphere. Food was great and service was even better. Loved getting to talk to the family and learn about the restaurant. And don’t forget to take a cinnamon roll to go for the road!
