This was my favorite childhood restaurant. So when I saw one for the first time in years? I was ecstatic, I kept my fingers crossed that they were opened as we pulled down the road, and sure enough, they were. I was so excited to get a huge order of all my favs! The food was delicious and the workers were very pleasant. But I do wish that the dining room was opened. Because when you’re traveling, you don’t want to eat every meal in the vehicle.

Only drive-thru is open due to not enough help. The two ladies who served us were very pleasant and all smiles. It is refreshing to seeing people who enjoy their job. The food was excellent and so good, we went back through and got food to bring home. Thank you!!! ❤️

The food was hot, good and plenty. The only thing wrong was the dining room was closed, they said simply because nobody wants to work. But we wanted Long John’s, so we ate in our car. The crunchy crumbles was excellent.

The last time I was there was in October 2022 and the parking lot was full but we were stopped at the door and told it’s still not open for dine in that all the people were there for job interviews so in 3+ years they are still about the only restaurant around that still claims staff shortage and cannot open the dining room. I guess all the people that day and after that didn’t get hired. I live in Haywood county and do not want to eat in my vehicle when it’s hot outside. I just don’t understand why this is basically the only place that can’t hire enough people to open the dining room after 3 years!

It’s pretty bad when you go by to get food and the restaurants always closed .I have tried twice in one week because Imy husband really wanted some clam strips from there. . Today they apparently didn’t even open.
