Smokies on the water was a interesting stop on a Saturday night. Passed it by to see what else was on the island first then bailed on the main Street for this place. Walked in to a super loud one man band. Prayed the outdoor seating was quiet honestly probably would have bailed if it wasn’t….. We we’re sat at wet table on the patio. Chairs were dry so we just wiped the table ourselves Couple long islands to start, they were ok. Bread course was good. Our appetizer was good but it took forever…. Only to have our dinner follow it shortly after…. The brisket meal was kinda ehh…. The Gouda burger was really good and it had a yummy bun. I would eat here again but definitely would order something different. Recommend trying for the veiws…..

Short staffed, no hostess with a sign that said “wait to be seated”. After 10 minutes and 2 people said they’d be right with us, we at at the bar. Bartender (owner?) immediately apologized and explained staffing issues. However service was impeccable and he was very friendly and personable. Pretzle and cheese was BOMB and nice ice cold beer. I’ll totally go back!

Shameful that cole slaw and rolls are not are of fish dinners anymore – cabbage is the cheapest thing in the freaking market. Lost my business- $30 for 2 dinners and no cole slaw and rolls! done

10/10 place, awesome food, the vibes and atmosphere were outstanding, the river view was awesome, the price i paid was worth it, all the way through. Highly recommend. Also props to the waiters, they were chill and nice. and the bathroom had a shower just incase so +1 to them.

Placed an order at 1:20 and was advised it would be ready at 1:40. Get there and am told 2 since they are busy and running behind. It’s now 2:26 and They just came up to me and got mad. They asked what I’m waiting for and I said I placed an order an hour ago and they said that it’s been so busy they haven’t even seen the order and they’ll start it now
