First time trying this place on my way through and I was quite happy! I usually try a basic Americano with cream at new coffee shops to get a feel for how good their actual *coffee* is (not syrups) and my coffee had really good flavor. I also got their breakfast sandwich (which came on a yummy fluffy croissant) and it was pretty yummy! I’d definitely come again if in Gaston.

Great cup of coffee but I have stopped here twice and both times been asked for a tip. Tips are discretionary. To ask is coercive. What can I say? No! It makes you feel had.

Been visiting this stand for over 15 years. Today was piss poor service. Barista was more concerned about socializing than providing good service. Spent 4-5 minutes talking with customer after giving coffee and muffin, then had the audacity to serve me after someone came through the other lane when I had been waiting.
