Stopped in for dinner at this quaint restaurant. The food was fresh and delicious. We both ordered the chicken chimichangas with rice and beans. Some of the best I have ever had!! The staff was friendly and very attentive. The margarita was perfect! The restaurant was very clean. Would highly recommend!!

Food definitely wasn’t fresh. I combination plate with a tamale and a shrimp taco. The shrimp were like little salad shrimp and had no seasoning like they thawed them in the microwave and put them on there. I didn’t even eat the tamale because it had obviously been sitting around in the warmer for a long time, and when I opened it, it fell apart. I give 2 stars because the server was nice and she gave me another taco in exchange for my tamale (a chicken taco) which was better than the first one.

This is my second time ordering El Sol from DoorDash and my second time being absolutely wowed, I’ve ordered delivery from other local Mexican restaurants and everything came as a huge mess. I appreciate this being nicely boxed. It also arrived in less than 20 minutes which is a huge plus. Of course, the food was incredible. Not only the taste, but it was still steaming hot when I picked up my first taco. If you need a quick and delicious lunch or dinner delivery, this is your place. I’m looking forward to dining in soon, too.

You’d better read the menu over carefully. The lunch specials are basically about the same as dinners. Except they charged me twice as much for the dinner. And it charged me $3 for a soda. They charge me $3 for 2 extra tortilla shells. And believe me, it’s not that greathe food is okay at best, the service was good.

This place is one of my favorite Mexican restaurants in Waukesha. Small eat in area, but very friendly. Food tastes really good. Only 4 stars because there isn’t any wow fact that pushes it over.

Food, including enchiladas suizas, el sol combo, chili rellenos were delicious. Service on Mothers day evening was slow and the new waitress messed up 3 of 4 orders. They remade the food but it was a long night. Free Mothers day cake was nice. Margaritas were OK. Not the worse. But not great. Guacamole app was small. Had to ask about the guacamole and water for the table 3 times.

Very nice warm atmosphere. The service was good. Free chips with salsa sauce was given before our meal. There’s a few parking spots in the front of the building. There are more parking spots in the back but it’s hard to tell from the street. The food was extremely delicious! Menu prices are average.

My word how to describe the meal I just had on Father’s day. Well it wasn’t great. I ordered the queso dish appetizer. It was literally a little melted cheese with chorizo on top. They took shredded blanco and melted it. I literally cut into it with my fork. It was so greesy because of the microwave melting process that there was a small pool on the plate.
