I had a brisket Philly. It was excellent. The side of greens was also excellent and I like the fact that they utilize some of the stems so you have a higher fiber. Owner is almost always there Mike very friendly, walking around, making sure everybody’s enjoying their meal. It’s a pleasant surprise.

As a truck driver I’m always excited to eat a hot meal. And as a ‘foodie’ I’m always looking for the next great meal. This place provided both of those things. Very accessible, affordable and a variety of food. I honestly didn’t know where to begin as I ordered. I suggest the honey butter. Goes great with the cornbread. Tried this place for the first time yesterday and I’m a fan. The Mac and cheese is probably the best I’ve had from a barbecue place. The cornbread has an addicting quality to it. The collard greens were perfect. The beans were also delicious. The ribs were my favorite thing, and the bread pudding was great too. The only bad I would say is the brisket was a little over cooked and not your standard “jiggly” brisket. And the potato salad was a tad salty. But their prices are amazing for the quality. I’ll definitely be going back!
