Went for breakfast, which is served 0700-1100. Food is excellent and prices are low. Sauces are particularly good. To me the food seemed more authentic rather than Tex-Mex. Being located at the historic Sun-n-Pines is an added bonus.

Breakfast menu is not as varied as other places but it is cheeaaapp and you get good portions. Breakfast tacos are 1.50 and three will usually fill a grown adult. Salsa is great but beware of the green one, it is spicy! Overall the place is a great gem for the town. Environment is laid back and the waitresses are attentive. I would recommend to anyone wanting good food at a reasonable price.

I COME eat breakfast almost every day. Same great taste for last 10 + years. I will never go anywhere else, tried all around town, this is truly the best and nicest staff and owners you will ever meet and best of all THE PRICE…is so cheap… your stomach will be full for the rest of the day. FRESH HOMEMADE TORTILLAS, fresh beans as well.

I was pleasantly surprised here. The location is near a roadside motel, so I really never considered stopping here before. However, my friend and I were out and about and decided to try somewhere different. I’m glad we did. The place is cozy, with an eclectic decor, but comfortable seating. The prices are very reasonable, with several options below $10. I ordered the beef enchilada plate, and my friend got the cheese enchilada plate. We both ordered a side of guacamole dip. The salsa is a bit different from other places, I think because they use the sweet peppers. It was good. The guacamole and food was good. They offered 2 other sauces with our meal. One looked intimidating, with a dark color and visable pepper seeds, and the other was green and a little creamy looking. Don’t be fooled! The green is HOT and the other is more smoky flavored. When we were there, it was quiet and not busy at all. We would go back.

I normally order a shrimp and steak here, so I can’t reveiw on actual mexican foods but shrimp was juicy and tender. Nicely cooked. Steak was tasty enough with balanced seasoning (I’m generous on steak most of the time unless it’s way over the line) the price wasn’t ridiculous, interior was nice and not chaotic or anything, it looked like some cozy family place to be at. Overall, it wasn’t bad and I would come back some more.

Best fajitas in town. #37 combo fajitas with bacon! Omfg get over there already. Unique atmosphere, nice staff, yummy food. Dine in or call in a to go order. I do both. My order always has enough food for 2 meals.

This is a typical Tex-Mex restaurant. It’s a bit dated, but the food was tasty. Service wasn’t amazing but we were a very large party. I would probably try someplace else next time but would not be disappointed if this was chosen by someone else.

Been here once a few yrs ago. Doesn’t look like much on the outside but inside was nice & clean. The waitress was nice, food was great. I ordered carne guisada. Definitely need to go back soon.
