Whitpain has an extensive menu. We enjoyed everything we ordered. The pretzels were soft and buttery and the cheese sauce was perfect. The buffalo cauliflower is very good. We’ll be back.

This is such a fun local spot 🙂 great place to go when you want a nice cold drink and something to eat. It’s fun on the weekends too with all their various bands. There’s always something going on! Definitely worth checking out if you haven’t been there already.

Jim “The Cheesesteak Guy” Pappas
This Cheesesteak was surprisingly Bland. Wednesday night, the parking lot was full, lots of events on the sign out front, big menu and diverse crowd had my hopes up for a much better cheesesteak. $8.75 and it came with the potato petal french fries that were delicious. The other food going past us smelled amazing. The guy next to us at the bar liked his dinner. Maybe our cheesesteak was a one-off. We got the De Kalb cheesesteak which comes spinach, peppers and provolone cheese on it. Our cheesesteak was the weak link in the Whitpain Tavern chain

Whitpain was exactly what I needed. Sometimes you just need a real place that is not “corporate ” not pretentious, just a laid back tavern that has what you need. Today is Sunday. And all I wanted was a low key spot to have a bloody mary and breakfast. I can’t say how perfect this place is for just that. Oh and the food came out hot and tasty. Prices are legit and my bloody mary was perfect. No need to upgrade to any other vodka. The whatever vodka. (House name) is just right. Highly recommend. I live in Norristown and this was my 1st time here. Definitely may become a regular.

Went to watch a friends band here. We ordered a bunch of apps and they were all good (potato skins, nachos, and Bavarian pretzel sticks). They have all you can eat crab legs on Monday nights. Also a good place to watch a game.
