I had a pleasant evening out at this place. I ordered the Pulpo a la Parrilla as well as the Chupe de Camarones. Though I thought that some of the octopus was a bit overcharred, the dish had a great flavor combination, and since it is intended to be “grilled octopus” one can only expect some extra charring from time to time. The dish had a wonderful presentation (I wish I had taken a photo), as well as many of the other dishes I saw prepared.

Amazing as always! I let chef Carlos recommend the ceviches as well as the main entrees. All dishes were amazing and the flavors were exceptional. Fish was extremely fresh in the ceviches, the chicharrón was outstanding and the lomo was my favorite. Highly recommended and can’t wait to come back!

Absolutely phenomenal! We were presented a variety of Peruvian style dishes: savory ceviche, fresh farmers market salad, smoky steak, buttery tai snapper, mouthwatering squid and baby octopus with potato in squid ink, crisp homemade potato fries, and a delicious desert that featured fermented yam. The cooking and serving staff were beyond amazing and it was evident that they love their job and are fully committed to making it a memorable dining experience for their customers. This place has a wonderful atmosphere and is no doubt a 10/10

Pucquio is phenomenal. The dishes are thoughtful and creative, and the ingredients are chosen with precision. The quality of the seafood, in particular, is fantastic. This is not a hole in the wall, traditional cooking Peruvian restaurant. As a Peruvian, this is what I crave, but not why I come to Pucquio. I know that the dishes here retain the essence of what makes Peruvian food unique, but done in a way I’ve never had before. The price point aligns with the quality (but also let’s talk about why diners expect Peruvian food to be cheaper and don’t balk at paying the same amount for Italian food up the street).

Can’t believe we didn’t try this fantastic place sooner. Not only were we welcomed like dear friends to a dinner party, the food is terrific, service attentive, and prices very reasonable. We will make this a regular night out from now on!

We had seats at the counter which was really interesting because we could watch and interact with the chefs. We had the pescado ceviche and the taradito clasico ceviche. Both were outstanding with bright flavors. We tried the fried plantains which was served with a schezwan honey sauce and papitas were excellent. I highly recommend if you want food that dances on your palate.
