Orders bbq ribs and bistec la Padilla today and when I say the meat was TOUGH as a leather shoe that might be an understatement. Couldn’t get 1 good edible bite of the “ribs “ that’s how hard and overcooked. Tried an oxtail while I was there and it was tough and chewy. They need to get rid of the cook who is on today. People have wasted money on the inedible food and it’s not right. $25+ that could’ve gone somewhere else. Very disappointed.

If you are looking for some truly authentic dominican food that’s cost friendly, you’ve come to the right place. I had Freddy’s and Areli’s as my favorites before and latin American was great, but the food variety price and that moro de guandules (rice and beans) recipe they have here CANNOT be beat. I’m half dominican and eating here always takes me right back to Santo Domingo. You won’t find any better in camden county or south jersey.

This restaurant is one that I had driven by in the past and was eager to try out. Upon entering the restaurant was quite well done. All the fixtures and Decor are very modern and looked very inviting. The staff were friendly and helpful and all of the food looked quite delicious. We ended up taking out an assortment of the various pastelitos, rice and beans along with sliders made with chicken and plantains instead of rolls. Everything turned out to be as tasty as it looked. Looking forward to returning their in the future. enjoy!

Food is good but depends on what you get I guess. The yellow rice I ordered a week ago was tasteless and the chicken but today I ordered a mofongo and red snapper and it was delicious.

Not thrilled … came here today to sample some food …. For one the food was cold when I got it which to me serves as a health hazard. Food was mediocre at best. Rice had no flavor .. pernil was dry I just didn’t really understand why the food was so cold. Old San Juan always has the food hot when served to you.
