What a great way to kick off the new year by dining here at this awesome restaurant. The vibe is very much, we serve home-made dishes, have a nice attitude, decent appetite, and be relaxed as you dine because you’ll feel at home; dining with family and friends. The service was splendid. They were prompt, friendly and consistent from begining to end. The food was delicious and it was even more special to hear about some bits of the recipes behind the amazing dishes served there. Will def go back again to try their breakfast and dinner. Compliments to the chef, owner and rest of the Matthew’s Home staff/family.

Sunday 4/9/2023 I ordered smothered pork chops dinner, my only complaint is the chop was tough and dry, gravy season will, side was good just not happy with the pork chops, could not eat. Wish I could exchange for something else. Second dinner ordered no complaints. Spent $54.39.

I had breakfast delivery. The grits were under seasoned as was the chicken wings. I order grits with cheese and that’s basically where I got my flavor. Off the top. The crust of the chicken was seasoned, just not the chicken itself.

This plate cost me $25.00. I was so disappointed with this plate. The greens/cabbage was way too salty. Rice was mushy and the gravy was too light plain with no flavor had to dr. it up myself and three medium oxtails. The candy yams were the only thing I enjoyed besides the corn muffin I received wished I could have gotten two for the price
