First time eating from here and I must say it was off the hook! Me and my wife love jamaican food. Last time we had some good jamaican food was back in Brooklyn but now we have it close to home. Ordered the jerk chicken and oxtail meal, the festival and rasta pasta, and let’s just say we went in! The food took some time to make but it was worth the wait, especially when you know its homemade to order. The service was great. It was definitely worth every penny. We will definitely be back!

Very friendly and welcoming hosts. We had the oxtail stew and curried goat stew, both with rice & peas, and steamed vegetables (cabbage etc). We shared an order of sweet fried plantains. Everything was delicious. Looking forward to dining here again.

Immediately after walking in, I was greeted with absolutely amazing energy! The atmosphere is calming, the staff is friendly and welcoming. After looking at the very easy to read and organized menu, I got the curry shrimp, steamed veggies, rice and plantains. After a great conversation with Oshea, the food came out looking absolutely BOMB, and I’ll tell you the flavor matched the presentation cause it was good. 10/10 highly recommended .

I have been waiting for this restaurant to open and it was worth the wait! I must say it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. From the moment I stepped inside I was greeted with a warm and friendly atmosphere that immediately made me feel welcome.The service at Yeah Mon was top-notch. The staff members were so friendly! They made sure that all my needs were met. I ordered the fried chicken and oxtail meal. They were absolute perfection! The fried chicken was so crispy on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside. It was seasoned just right and had the perfect amount of crunch. As for the oxtail, it was simply melt in your mouth delicious. Each bite was a burst of Caribbean delight! The portions were generous, and the presentation was impressive. The meals were served hot and fresh, and the attention to detail was impeccable.The ambiance of Yeah Mon was delightful, with vibrant Caribbean music playing in the background and beautiful decor that made me feel like I was on the island. It truly enhanced the overall dining experience and added to the authenticity of the cuisine.

They need to do better….I ordered curry goat and what I got was small cold pieces of bones and the rice a was really hard to chew it was not properly cooked. I also ordered steam veggies and the woman gave me raw veggies she had left in her buffet. I was very disappointed on the amount of food given. Not enough food for the price. They were nice people but the restaurant needs more organization…it felt like I was at a late night club mixed with a buffet style/bar setting. It didn’t feel like a good family authentic Jamaican restaurant

I recently had the pleasure of trying the curry goat meal with veggies at a Jamaican restaurant and it was absolutely incredible. The flavors were perfectly balanced and the meat was tender and juicy. The staff were incredibly helpful and caring, going out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed and answering any questions I had. Their hospitality made me feel welcome and appreciated. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for delicious Jamaican cuisine and a fantastic dining experience. It’s definitely a 5-star restaurant all around!

Spent almost $100, ordered during business hours and waited two hours to receive the food we ordered. After two hours we were told the order was getting cancelled because they weren’t open- again- still during business hours. Would suggest not ordering from here if you plan on having a meal with your family. Will never order from here again!!

We dined in. The oxtail was excellent, veggies delicately flavored and surprisingly yummy, rice was light and not boring. My only disappointment is that I prefer plantains with a crispy outside with maple syrup not honey. I know. That is not a Jamacian thing, but it could be. Lol

Like Simon would say, “Wow!” Some of the best Jamaican food I’ve ever had (and I have visited Jamaica several times). Not only is the food incredibly delicious but the sisters couldn’t be more friendly! 5 stars are not enough! I will be returning often!
