Nice restaurant with a ton of menu options. Plenty to choose from for all types of diets. Great, comfortable environment. Friendly staff and excellent food. Shrimp oreganata, salmon with dijon, pappardelle bolognese, and such were all great, as were the salads and appetizers. Have been there quite a few times and will definitely keep returning!

I am one of those fussy Italian Americans who desire great food, great service, a clean and pleasing ambiance and a well-paced meal. I can say all my desires were met and even surpassed here at Mannino’s in Oakdale. Our reservation was somehow lost but nevertheless we were accommodated and seated immediately. The bus boy came quickly offering us regular iced water or mineral, still or sparkling. Not five minutes later our waiter arrived asking about drinks, offering us samples of the wines. About five minutes later he appeared with a glass of the most exceptional wine and quickly went through the specials. We ordered an appetizer, a shared salad and two entrees. These also arrived amazingly quickly even though the restaurant was hopping. Not only was the food delicious but served piping hot! Our waiter even went the extra mile and split our shared salad so we would not have to fuss with it. We wound up taking dessert home as we were very tired from a long trip but in the future we will plan on staying longer and enjoy every moment of the wonderful dining experience here. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Thank you to our exceptional waiter Tyler and to all the great staff who work here!

We went for dinner with 6 people, we made reservations ahead of time. Once all of us were there they sat us right away. Everybody had their own appetizers, the table got a little quiet while we all enjoyed how tasty they were.

Mannino’s was a last minute choice after our original destination was closed due to flooding. The menu had many appealing choices of pasta, steak and seafood and plenty of specials as well. The fried calamari appetizer was perfectly cooked. Try the hot sauce with it-not too spicy and very tasty.

Food was good but overpriced compared the the level we are used to getting at other places. Our usual place was booked because we waited too long. Our fault I get it. The girl that made the arrangements was very nice and did a great job during the event, but the manager was not friendly at all. It was a good event overall but would not do it again for the price. There were a few people that couldn’t make the party they charged me for the meal ok I understand that (even though I personally feel that is bad business). But since I paid for the meal I should be able to take the entire meal home. They told me they put the meals in a to-go container. When I got home there were two pieces of meat and some spaghetti. Not what I paid for… overall very nice party but way over priced and not very accommodating. I will not be making arrangements there again for family events.

Everything here is delicious! Best Thai calamari I’ve ever had and their bolognese sauce is top notch. So good that I can eat the sauce as a stand alone. It rivals my fathers Sunday sauce The waitstaff is also wonderful. I just wish they would leave the grated cheese on the table lol

My husband and I moved to Long Island six years ago and this restaurant is the best Italian food I’ve had on Long Island. If there was a rating higher than five I would give it a ten. Staff is very tentative friendly. Food is delicious and the service is awesome

The Veal Carini tasted unseasoned. I had to put a lot of salt on the mushrooms, sundried tomatoes and brown gravy that smothered the veal. The bread was good especially when I dipped it in a freshly-prepared sauce of olive oil, Parmesan cheese and red pepper.
