Sagano Japanese Bistro & Steakhouse of Warren is part of the family of 5 Sagano Steakhouses in Michigan. Sagano was formed back in 2003 in Flint Township Michigan by Shiro Inoue and his wife Inja Song when they opened their first Japanese Bistro featuring some of the best sushi around. Two years later the steakhouse was added and quickly became wildly popular with local customers. Sagano features home made dressings for our salads, home made soups, and home made dipping sauces which all get rave reviews. Always ordered takeout finally got to dine in and the experience was so fun! We took our 4,6,and 7 year old and they even enjoyed themselves and the food. Our chef was awesome, service amazing. And people great. Would recommend it’s kind of a hidden gem if you’re not from the area. Again would recommend. I love everything and eat from here frequently. Didn’t get too many pics of food I was too busy eating this time! But they have a nice drink menu as well!

Chef Moko was amazing! The food was cooked very masterfully and everything came together very nicely. The service was also top notch. Of course it’s pricey, but you don’t come here expecting to pay McDonald’s prices. And for what you get it’s definitely worth the price! A great place to celebrate special occasions. I really enjoyed having my birthday here, will be coming back for sure.

Sagano wasn’t bad but I had better experiences in other establishments. I came to this hibachi location for hibachi and sushi. Imagine my surprise when this location had no sushi nor did they have appetizers. Also, the edges of the tabletop were dirty (like where food falls in) and when you see the pics I have attached, you’ll see for yourself. Smh I was disappointed but decided to make the most of the evening.

The service is unbelievable. As you walk in to this newly modern Japanese steakhouse. You are greeted by a hostess who takes you to the table. The beautiful thing about this place is you do not have to wait untill everyone shows up and fills the table. If there is only two people they will sit you down and cook for you. I find this to be my favorite thing about Sagano. The food was cooked to perfection. Our chef was very accommodating to us. Thank you all for the great place you opened up here.

Placed a carry out at 5:03, was told 45minutes to and hour. I got there at 5:50 and I kept getting told just a few more minutes, I got my food an hour later at 6:45. I finally got my food home to my hungry family and it was literally thrown in the bags and falling out of the containers. The food is lukewarm at best, there was no shrimp included, says it comes with every meal, the “salad” is yellow iceberg lettuce and didn’t come with any dressing, and the steak is over done. Extremely disappointed with what was supposed to be a special family dinner.

I like this place. It has a sushi bar area,general dining area, and three open grills where they cook your meals and serve you in your seat. The food was tasty!! This place you can save money by buying a groupon discount 24 to 48 hours prior to dining there. I will return.
