Low key, family owned spot with delicious food! We stumbled upon this place and were blown away by the fantastic food and excellent service. The owner was so kind and checked in with us multiple times to make sure we were all set. The prices are very reasonable and portions are huge! Definitely try the coconut rice – it is sublime! We will definitely be back.

I can’t believe I forgot to take photos of the food but it was so delicious I was too busy eating it!! NOTE the hours online are incorrect so I included a photo of the hours in my review and sent Google a correction. We ate crab fried rice, pamal chicken, coconut rice, eggplant and prawns, spring rolls, and a sampler platter. So many good leftovers!! Oh and the mango sticky rice for dessert is soooo good!!

Pad kee mao is amazing! The noodles texture is great, and the seasoning is perfect. The chicken is also cooked well (thin and not overcooked like at many Thai restaurants). Their chili oil sauce is also great!

They are so friendly here! We tried the Thai iced tea, pad see ew, spring rolls and pad Thai and thought it was really good! Something for everyone on the menu, very reasonably priced, would definitely recommend.

Saysetha Thai was an impromptu find in Oakland as I was driving down Telegraph Avenue. I decided to swing by for an early dinner after finishing up some errands, and I’m so glad I did. Authentic and fresh Pad Thai with the perfect balance of flavors can be found at this homey establishment. I had mine with chicken and prawns, at a medium spice level. Will definitely be coming back

Wonderful family business and authentic, delicious Thai food! We asked for spice and they were super responsive. The Pad Kee Mow, basil chicken, fried rice, wings, fried fish were all delicious. Air is a lovely host, truly a fresh breath of air! 10/10 would recommended.

Amazing Lunch. The servers and cooks are Thai or Laos and they know how to cook Heyyy I ordered my Thai soul food RadNa Beef: beef n broccoli stir fry in a black sweet soy saucy gravy on top of stir fried wide rice noodles. I ordered dessert to go Mango n Sweet sticky rice, Heck Yes, it was absolutely perfect! Sweet salty ratio Mmmm – Go get you some of this Berkeley/Oakland institution since 1986 in your life.
