Well….Where do I start!!! The soul rolls are extremely nasty, they were filled with non seasoned greens. Sweet potatoes (that taste like straight cinnamon) and dry mac n cheese with a soggy crust. Then I had the soul bowl with the fish. Fish was salty, greens has no flavor and the Mac n cheese doesn’t have cheese and I think it’s poultry seasoning in the Mac n cheese. This food is awful. Won’t be back

It’s ONLY take out! Don’t go to sit down or you will be disappointed. I sincerely hope she gets a storefront and staff! ❤️ Her food is truly Upscale. I have eaten Soul Food all my life, and I don’t know how to explain Chef’s food except Next Level. Not average and definitely not everyday. Her Soul Rolls sell out immediately for a reason! I am trying to write a fair review because I have tried a little of everything and am NOT lying when I say it’s All good! But if you have her cater your event ALL your guests will be Impressed!

Food was not as good as I expected but it was good. Shrimp was a little to salty. I don’t like greens but tasted them anyway. Amazing! Wasn’t mushy or over seasoned. I will go back when I an in town for the catfish and greens. The soul rolls were sold out but I will definitely try them next time.

Brandi was a delight to work with. She was very professional and attentive to what I needed for my husband’s 60th birthday party. When I say she outdid herself, I truly mean it. Long wait. Customer service was definitely lacking. Was waiting around to order. One person was just on their phone. The other was having a conversation with someone else. So I waited. The food took about 30 mins to be prepared. The soul roll was soggy, and greasy. The catfish was good. Lemonade was also good. Corn bread was hard, like it was stale. Just wasn’t a good experience.

This is like a pop-up kitchen! But not a good one. Seems pretty sketchy when you never see who you are talking to. The sign said to call but she will text back and say order through text. Unprofessional located in a strip mall and you have to text her to get a response. This is why black businesses don’t thrive. Please don’t even open if you can’t afford a store front. Closes at 7pm after we drove all the way there to order they said they were closed for the day. Came back the next day and ordered lunch. Food came out not looking anything like the pictures. Mac & cheese so dry you could hardly see the cheese. Looked oily more than anything. Over priced for sure so she is slamming you with portions of bad tasting food. Skip this spot and try again! Sorry sis.

Chef Brandi took care of my Sorors and me on this past Easter Sunday which also happened to be our 30th DELTAversary! She prepared brunch AND dinner and was thorough, communicative & professional. The food was really flavorful and delicious. We are blessed to have found Pretty Soul Kitchen!

My sister and I went and we placed our order online. It’s said 15 to 20 minutes. We waited 30 minutes and once I went in I head to wait for an extra 45 minutes. We paid $27 for 2 pieces of catfish a scoop of bland man and cheese dinner greens that was bitter and 2 pieces of cornbread. I was highly upset and it was way over price. We went because Keith said how great the food was. I guess they wanted him to have some great food and we got some mediocre portions. Will I go again. No!!! I got the soul fish bowl and they were sold out of everything else it’s a NO FOR ME!!
