We needed something to grab and go for a nice picnic at the beach and heard great things about Lao Sticky Rice. We ordered 2x Thai Shrimp Summer Rolls and they had a special on Sticky Rice dessert ($5 for 3 desserts). Our favorite: Pandan Mochi! Then, Banana Sticky Rice and original sticky rice. Will absolutely be going back for more.

This place is awesome. It is a small Lao grocery & grab N go eatery, featuring many South East Asian dishes. Red, Green & Yellow curries, cucumber salad, Thai spring rolls,and Lao beef salad, one of my favorites. Located in back/ side of Long’s in the Waienae Mall , Waienae Hawaii.

Stopped by after a day at the beach. Yum! Refreshing pineapple honey tea boba! Ordered fresh shrimp spring rolls w peanut sauce which were perfect! The pate banh mi was incredible. They ran out of mango but the banana sticky rice was delicious! Definitely a worth a visit!

I came here thinking it was going to be a restaurant. It’s more of a produce store that also sells drinks and desserts. I was pleasantly surprised of how good the sticky rice dishes were. Worth going out of my way if I’m in the area again. Definitely coming back.

Lao sticky rice isn’t a restaraunt… It is actually a specialty store that sells fresh local produce, Asian grocery items, healthy (made from flowers they grow themselves) teas/special (Bobas, coffee, fresh fruit) drinks and lao ethnic snacks/foods. IT’S A ONE STOP SHOP!
