Definitely the best subs in this area. Worth driving 20-30 minutes if not from the area. We got the regular Italian and the cheesesteak. Both 12 inches. They have a large menu with vegetarian options but I would call ahead to check on the availability. Experienced wanting to purchase an item and there were none for sale. We dined in (counter service) and their hospitality was great.

EASILY the best Italian sub I’ve had in years. I just finished it, and am considering moving my family from Colorado to Richmond just to be closer to this place. They did everything just right. The meat is unbelievable…bread soaked in the dressing but didn’t get soggy…they wrapped it tight and let the flavors mingle. I almost don’t want to share this review for fear of too many people finding out about this incredible sandwich. I’ll certainly be back every time I’m in town.

Coming from New York. This is the best Italian sub, and Philly cheesesteak sub I have had in VA. The bread was awesome . The vegetables were fresh lots of meat. What a find. Best cheesesteak I’ve had in the Richmond area by far. Bun was super soft and fluffy, huge amount of steak and cheese perfectly cooked. Fries were piping hot. Cannot recommend this place enough. Seating area is a little unusual, but plenty of seating available.

Best Italian sub in the RVA area hands down. Generous amounts of meat. Seasoning is on point. This sub was perfect. I will go out of my way to get a sub here from now on. The place was not busy – went at 2pm on a Wednesday – and the guy behind the counter was nice. Give them a shot!

I ordered the Sandano Italian with hot pepper relish and added jalapeños. It was perfect. The sandwich is well built so every bite had bits of each element added. The oil and vinegar is great and I love the added spice I included in my customized sandwich. Definitely a top tier sub shop.

If I could give 20 stars I would. Absolutely, no question, the BEST subs ever. Meatballs, sausage, cheesesteak!!! Everything is amazing but more over the owner is awesome. We love eating here and I cannot give any higher praise than just amazing!!! If you have not been here then you are missing out.
