They have the best tasting alaskan cod, salmon or shrimp tacos you’ve ever had. The tacos are hugh, one is enough but they’re so good you might want to get two. Other places skimp on the shrimp but not taco temple. Desert is good too especially the carrot cake. I also like the chips and salsa you get as soon as you get seated.

You don’t have to be religious to give praise and worship in this temple, it’s really good. Service was fast and everyone was friendly. Prices are good for the size of the plates. The shrimp cocktail has a bunch of shrimp in it they don’t skimp. I got the wet asada burrito and my girlfriend got the white shrimp taco. Both plates were massive. Horchata was good too.

Cool little restaurant with vintage tables and lights, super friendly staff with warm chips and. A bag of chips to start. Lots of fresh seafood options and check the board for the specials of the day. Portion size is ginormous, seems like everyone had extras to bring home to finish later.

I had the salmon Taco it was huge with two nice big pieces of blacken salmon with a tasty greens on the top. I just left and ate the whole thing. I had to leave a review to help people make a decision. Well worth the price!! The food was delicious!!

I ordered a lot and everything was great except my cod burrito. Normally the cod burrito is full of cabbage and yummy veggies but not today. It was a spicy mush. It’s very disappointing.

Taco Temple is not to be missed if you’re in the SLO area. The food, the ambiance, and the service are top notch. I always order a Temple Ade – their version of lemonade. It comes with a splash of grapefruit juice and a sugared rim. Unless you are famished, you will go home with a doggy bag. Covid has me missing their salsa bar – now the chips and salsa are delivered to your table. There are 2 locations, and the newer one is pretty fancy, with indoor and outdoor seating. Oh, and don’t forget to buy a big slice of carrot cake to bring home since you will be too full to have dessert.

Just bad. In a party of 8 five people left disappointed about their food. The place reeks of low quality seafood that punches you in the face as soon as you walk in. The burger is huge to distract from the fact it’s overcooked and poorly made. Seafood is beyond bland. Should’ve known it was gonna be a disappointment when they served Pace sauce.

Food was delicious and huge servings. Could only eat half and took the rest to go! Very friendly staff.

Not a bad little spot for some tacos! I’ve passed this place on the 101 probably a thousand times and hadn’t been in till recently. I do wish the menu had some more Mexican style food, I guess I had the wrong idea with the name Taco Temple… ‍♂️…the tacos were pretty good though! My son had the nachos and he liked them too. I don’t recall if they had a military discount or not, but that’s always a plus in my book.

Local halibut tacos x 2 makes a happy couple of diners. Don’t forget the chips and salsa yo! Prices aren’t cheap, but you get what you pay for. Just look at all that freshie fresh produce and tell me any different. Just look at that delicious seafood or whatever you got and tell me any different. Just look! Just look will ya? Just take a look already!
