I went to Chef Jeff’s for the first time and it was a great place. My friend had the turkey dinner and I had the fish and chips. Both plates were large servings. Service was quick and friendly. The place has a friendly atmosphere as most customers seemed to be regulars, like the Cheers of Diners. I want to go back and grab a breakfast there.

Excellent service, nice cozy place. Stopped in before work for breakfast and still made it on time. Had scrambled eggs with cheese and a side of crispy bacon. The home fries are great and I also had toasted raisin bread. This will definitely be a regular thing for me now.

It was alright, it’s a very small place so it gets crowded fast. There food was good. Service wasn’t all to great. I felt as if our waitress was a little rude and had a little attitude. She didn’t check up on us at all during our meal. I liked how chef jeff came out to mingle with the customers when he wasn’t busy. I appreciated that.. but for a first time there, I don’t know that I would go back.

Food (breakfast)excellant. Atmosphere homey, clean, small. Waitress (Renee) attentive, friendly, but not overbearing or obtrusive. My dining partner and I were very aware if no seating available, however we were allowed to chat, eat and have more than one cup of coffee without feeling we were a bother. This was a first visit and plan to visit again for lunch. A very good experience.

I ordered the Portuguese omelet and my wife ordered the Apple cinnamon pancakes and we shared a slice of grilled sweet bread. The staff is more like family then workers. I try a Lot of different things on the menus and haven’t had anything I didn’t love. Also amazing fish and chips

One of the friendliest places I’ve ever been; everyone seems to know each other. Attentive staff, is quick with coffee refills, extra cream, and helpful advice about the area. Head and shoulders better than franchise places. Excellent home style cooking, highly recommended.

This is the kind of place where the servers seem to know all the customers, which can sometimes put off a new comer like me. Yet we were welcomed warmly and the server helped us choose good lunch options, both for me as a vegetarian and my friend who was in the mood for pork. The atmosphere is relaxed, and the service was great, even though we came in a half hour before they close at 2:00. This is my new favorite lunch place in the area.

Food is a little pricey. Taste was ok. Probably wouldn’t go back for breakfast. I’m willing to try lunch there. Waitress was nice. The kid from the back kept coming out and standing right in front of us, having conversations with the bus boy, while we were eating at the counter.

Ive been to this place numerous times. This place is hands down the best in Westport and definitely better than Persy’s Place in Dartmouth. I love the environment as it gives that community diner feel where everyone is friendly. The service and food are great. I had the Irish Eggs Benedict made with their homemade hollandaise and corn beef hash. Also the Jeff’s egg sandwich is a must try when you go there. It was all delicious and I will definitely make my way back whenever I get the chance.
