Overall experience wasn’t completely bad. The customer service was good, but the food was too expensive and it didn’t have much flavor/seasoning (looks we’re deceiving). Also there was too many fly’s which was annoying. Wouldn’t come here again but I guess if you want to experience yourself go ahead.

HOLY SH!T! EVERYTHING WAS AMAZING! The gumbo is deep and rich. The oyster po boy is the best around. The mac and cheese with ‘The Whole Swamp’ is just f’ing delicious. Huge portions. You will be leaving with leftovers. Ask for the ‘Creamy Goodness’ with your fried mushrooms.

When I crave catfish I drive to French Quarter Bistro from Mesquite. Customer Service is A1 and the food is really good. It’s a bit expensive but quality is not free. Catfish is seasoned to perfection and you get plenty. The sides are to die for and the desert is really good. I have not had a bad food item yet. I simply love the place.

Visiting from Chicago, my brother and my sister in law, they live here in Forney, wanted to bring my nephew and myself to check out the wings. They were tasty. And I loved the fried okra. Our waitress was the best! It was a small intimate setting with a lot of fun people trying to sing to karaoke. The Trivia board was also a nice change. Overall I enjoyed it and I’ll definitely visit again as well as tell my Chicago friends and family too! Thanks Again!

Big surprise! I was working about a mile down the road and made a quick search for nearby restaurants. Menu on this place caught my eye so decided to swing by. We were welcomed as soon as we walked in and we’re told to sit where we wanted and quickly asked what we wanted to drink. Coworker and I both opted for the Cajun pasta and it was delicious! Great flavor, price, and serving size I can’t park sit to try the rest of them menu. We also tried the boudin balls and they were delicious as well. We didn’t try any of their alcoholic beverages but they have a nicely stocked bar and frozen daiquiris. Service was great our server was super attentive and answered a few questions we had. Will be back ASAP!

I have visited French Quarter Bistro a few times and the service is very top notch. The owners take time to explain the different menu choices. The food is made.from scratch which is a huge plus. I’ve gotten swamp fries with extra sausage and crawfish on top and was delicious. On my most recent visit I came in and got the oyster po boy and a side of fried ribs. Both were exceptional, but the fried ribs are my new favorite. A buddy of mine for the combo meal of large chicken wings and fried ribs. I’m excited to go back and try other foods as well.

The food here is Amazing! My girls and I ordered a little bit of everything and the food was the truth from the boudain balls, fried green tomatoes and the corn hushpuppies. For the entrees we had the fried ribs a rice and cheese bowl and I added shrimp and grilled fish.

So check this out, my amazing boyfriend knows I’m in love with desserts but I’m super picky!!! He ordered me a few desserts and had them delivered!! Let me start by saying the banana pudding is better than my mama’s (sorry mama I’m not sorry) The bread pudding is amazing!! I personally prefer it warmed with the caramel glaze on it (you can definitely eat it warm tho)but you do you boo boo!!! The strawberry crunch pudding cake I ate it all y’all and it’s plenty!!!! I feel no shame. Hardly shared with anyone lol I will be in person to try the food!!
