Nice, quiet diner. Service was good for the most part, the hostess however was loudly listening to tiktoks on her phone. The food was satisfying, grilled chicken sandwich was really flavorsome. Their menu is expansive and culturally diverse. Lollipops by the door, pretty great place overall.

Classic family run diner. Great food all day, Italian dishes surprisingly good after a night of drinking. Good everyday breakfast joint while travelling.

I got raw pancakes and uncooked eggs with liquid protein in them, the only positive was good coffee but it’s not enough to give a higher rating, I definitely do not recommend it and I expected something better, the decor is also poor, it could use a renovation

It’s like coming home. The people are so friendly and interested, very good feeling to start a day like this . The food is very good! Lots of different choices and the prices are affordable. We will miss it. Thank you

We entered the diner and automatically noticed it was a blast to the past! Probably not updated since the ’80s. It was rather warm inside of the diner. As we walked to our booth, other people’s food looked great! We both order an omelette with different side items. We poured syrup on our food and dug right in. I noticed my mom stopped eating and pulled something off of her plate. Turns out the syrup was infested with ants and we had been eating ants in our food that had syrup poured all over it. We called our waitress over who spoke it over with what looked like the owner. They asked us if We wanted to eat anymore, but believe me we had had our fill of the aunt drenched food. I would have more than halfway tipped the waitress as she had nothing to do with the quality of food. But the owner still charged us for one of the meals we could not even finish and that we had eaten with ants all over it.

Had a great breakfast at this local diner. They have cute 2 people booths and a great diner feel. I had the lovely Isabella as my waitress and she was amazing. Great recommendations and customer service. I met the owner, Maria, and she was great. She knows so much history about the place, so if you have time, learn about the city with her. Highly recommended.

Been in the area for 4 years and I’ve consistently gone to Curleys Diner. As a graduate from the CIA (the Culinary School) honestly tried every plate. I give Curleys Diner an 7.5/10.

It’s been a year and I still think about this little diner. I was visiting a friend for a week and wandering Stamford and came across this really unique restaurant. It was quiet and well priced, the food was good. Reminded me of the restaurant my parents had growing up. It’s the cheesecake I still remember though. Massive slice, for five bucks at the time. It’s homey, it’s comfortable, it’s unique and the next time I find myself in town visiting my friend, I’ll be visiting here as well for another slice of cheesecake and friendly service.

We were in town for several days and love to eat at old time diners, so we were excited. Walking in was what we expected. A cute little diner. They still had up Christmas decorations. We sat down and the waitress came over and took our drink orders and then came back for our food orders. The food looked good when it arrived. I poured syrup on my pancake and dug into it and ate some of my bacon. I happen to look on my plate while I was chewing and saw something in the syrup. Upon closer inspection, I noticed it was an ant. At first it did not register, but then I looked at the glass jar that held the syrup and floating on the took of the syrup were numerous died ants. Disgusting!!!!!!!. The person that I was with, had also put syrup on her order. When the waitress came over I quietly told her of the issue and had her take the food away. She offered to have them cook me something else, but by this time I had seen ants crawling on the window and the wood meeting the window. They did not charge for my order, but did for my companions order, knowing that she had used the same syrup. Neither of us took another bite after realizing there was ants everywhere. So not even a fourth of our meals were touched. The waitress apologize, but when the female owner charged my companion and we were on one check and I was standing with her, the owner did not say a word. Not an apology or anything. So if you don’t mind some extra bug protein in your meal feel free to eat at this establishment. They will not charge you extra, but they will charge you. It is obvious that there is an ant problem throughout the establishment.
