My new favorite restaurant! The food was so delicious! I had Pra Ram and the peanut sauce really made the dish so delicious! My husband had the Pad Khing and it was great as well. The delicious flavor really brought the veggies out. We both had chicken and it was great in both meals. I highly recommend Thai Essence!

After eating at Basil Thai for like 20 years since they first opened I never managed to actually make it to Thai Essence until after Basil Thai closed. So now they are my go-to for Thai food. The food I had was just like the food at Basil Thai, just as good. I ate lunch and some day I will come back and try some stuff off their dinner menu. Glad they started staying open on Saturdays because that is generally the only time I have to eat there. Which is why I always ate at Basil Thai come to think of it. Anyway, it’s interesting also that since I moved out of WL this location is actually more convenient for me than Basil Thai would be now so that is a plus. Hope they stay in business for a long time.

I was actually not putting to much expectation on this restaurant before I went. Mostly because the pictures on Google reviews for this restaurant were all in poor quality, but it was actually way better than I thought. Will come here to try out more dishes next time! Highly recommend the shrimp wrap(?), I forgot what it was written on the menu. It was super delicious!!

Restaurant was clean and the staff were friendly. It took a while for us to get our food. We had green curry and Pad ped pla dook (cat fish). The green curry was delicious but the other one was too greasy and wasn’t that good. Will not recommend. $50 for two meals was quite a lot.

Food is good. Problem is the price for the amount you get. It’s all individually priced. If you want rice with the curry that costs extra for a tiny bowl. That would be ok except for the fact the curry is so grossly overpriced. I don’t understand, go over seas and it’s dirt cheap. Come to America and it’s more expensive than American food restaurants. I know things cost more here, but when I can go order a steak for less than a bowl of a few veggies and some sauce, there is a problem. 18.00 for a little plate of fried rice. Over 20.00 for what amounts to about 2 ounces of chicken in a curry sauce, nope.

I recently visited this restaurant with high hopes, but unfortunately, my experience left a lot to be desired. From the moment I walked through the door, it was clear that they was not concerned with customer satisfaction. The service was abysmal, and their restrictive ordering policy left me frustrated and unsatisfied.
