One of the best dinners we’ve had. We opted to sit at the bar as referenced in previous reviews and it was the best experience. Bartender was amazing and we met someone who frequents the restaurant who gave amazing recommendations. The watermelon cocktail was one of the best craft cocktails I’ve ever had! Can’t wait to go back

Honestly, all the food we had was fantastic! There were so many flavors that were layered together perfectly. Would eat it all again. Also, the mocktail was a very fun add to the meal!

Tiny, intimate space with limited menu. An old school, neighborhood vibe paired with exceptional cuisine, I’d opt for vino instead of cocktails as my mezcal margarita was less than on point. Cute vibe, beautiful flavors, perfect for an intimate date. I’d opt for the bar vs the tiny chairs at the table.

What a great little spot! We got to sit outside as the sun was setting. Great cocktails and generous wine by the glass selection. Get the Gem or Cantelope salad. The burger is outstanding! One of the best I’ve had. My friend got the steak and loved it too.

We were at Satchels on 6th on Saturday night, and to our surprise and delight it was customer appreciation night! This meant a free entire menu (pictured here) served family style while we paid for the drinks). The smoked chicken (smoked right out the front in their own smoker) was out of this world, as were the vegetarian options of smoked brussels sprouts, crispy fries and farm-to table green pea risotto. The beignets were worthy of a trip to New Orleans, but what surprised us most was the kindness and delight of how they presented this generous gift of Thanksgiving in May. We will be going back again and again. And did we forget to mention the butter smoked popcorn? Are you kidding me!!!! Thank you Satchels for reminding us of what it means to be a restaurant doing what it’s supposed to do — feeding people with a feast of delicious food with kindness and love.

Satchel’s is a neighborhood gem! The presentation of their dishes is cosmopolitan without losing the authenticity of their flavors; every plate is just like grandma would make, if grandma was a Michelin star chef. The staff will make you feel like family, and your only worry will be deciding what to have for dessert.

Such a great neighborhood place! The craft and care are evident everywhere here. Food is thoughtful and well-sourced. No tough tomatoes or pithy peaches here!

Had a lovely dinner with my wife here last night. The food was fun and delicious. The interior design, service and menu is eclectic, fun and unpretentious. There’s a bit of punk rock to the place.
