My husband and I went on Memorial Day. This is a nice little diner. They were very busy. The food came in a timely manner, the waitress was running the whole place and did fantastic! The food was good and very reasonable in price. The only reason I gave the food 4 stars was due to the mashed potatoes being instant. They were still good though. I ordered the chopped steak special (which kind of made me think of Salisbury steak) it was $5.50 and came with 3 sides. I got mashed potatoes with gravy, macaroni and cheese, and a tossed salad. It also came with choice of hot roll or cornbread. I chose the hot roll (which was slightly black on one side but I picked off the black part) the rest was good! The coffee was good too! It was all great for the price and the best thing I had was the coconut cream pie and it was only $2.50 and was fantastic! We will definitely try it again!

The food here is almost ALWAYS delicious! Homemade goodness. It’s been there for as long as I can remember. I wish they could get a huge donation to upgrade because their building could use some work. It really doesn’t matter, the people are so kind and the food is amazing!

I stop by every time I’m in town to visit family’s grave site. Love you grandma & grandpa. The food here is great! We usually get breakfast. Must try the biscuits and gravy.

My husband and I were camping nearby and we stopped in to the Dari-Bar for ice-cream and came back for lunch the next day. Amazing food and service. The sweet tea was made just as it should have been (strong so the ice doesn’t water it down to nothing and with regular sugar and not corn syrup or whatever). Don’t forget to save room for the pie! It reminded me of my grandma’s. If we didn’t live 6 hours away we would be regulars.

Great simple food, the old fashioned way. This place has really good food at surprisingly low prices. Been there forever, and its not a fancy place, that’s for sure. But, the food is great and people are friendly. You cannot go wrong, nice daily specials too!
