First time trying this drive in. Three stars only because it was just okay. Nothing to write home about. We ordered burgers and fries, chicken tenders and onion rings. The burgers were bland and the rest was over salted by a lot, even the kids commented on it. Overall we like the onion rings the most and we’re able to shake off the excess salt.

It has always been our family tradition to go to Calls. Ever since Maddox took over, our positive experiences have stopped. Today, 8/24/23, is the last time we will go after 20 years of being regulars. We had two separate orders (6 adults, 5 kids). We had to wait along time for our food. We got half of the food after waiting a half an hour, waited 15 more minutes to get half of the drinks we ordered, another 15 minutes before we got the rest of the food and another 15 minutes for the rest of our drinks. Our Duane specials were all burnt. We showed the server and instead of saying sorry, she grabbed it and said she would get a new one. She acted mad at us. The mugs weren’t chilled, the food was cold and burnt. No magic left at Calls. Will not ever go back.

The best thing is the A&W draft root beer in the frosted mug. I went here as a kid, so it was a nostalgic experience. I miss the old onion rings. Burger prices are a bit high for the quality, but the root beer is definitely worth the trip.

This place is seriously so good! And so cost-effective! My husband and I just can’t get enough of it. Perfect hamburgers.. and we always get out of there for cheaper than McDonald’s or Wendy’s and it’s much better quality we go here all the time. I don’t know why I haven’t submitted a review until now. Perfect thank you calls keep it up. We love your restaurant.

My family has been visiting calls for generations now and the fantastic thing is the food has never changed it’s always the same fantastic taste that you come to crave. The car hops are always polite and knowledgeable of there products.

Same but definitely not the same as when Duane ran it. Used to really look forward to a meal there with my family. Now it’s definitely not my first choice of a place to have lunch. Duane specials were my favorite burger. Each time we have been there after maddox took over. The buns are dry, the burger patty dry and barely warm enough to melt the cheese slice.

This used to be our favorite place, not anymore. We’ve been there several times this season and each time either the fries are cold and soggy or the hamburger is cold, today everything was cold. The quality has gone to zero, so bad. The young workers are more interest in joking around and eating the food rather than serving. And the drinks are made as soon as the order is put in so when you get the drink the ice is melted and drink is gross, stop making the drinks first or bring them out so we can enjoy them while still fresh. So sad wish it was better.

We came around 11:20ish am and the spots were all full so we had to park on the side and wait a bit. We only waited for almost several minutes before someone came to take our order (which we just finished on deciding what to get) and we didn’t wait long for our food. My only complaint was my burger being a little pink, but otherwise everything was tasty as can be. The root beer in a frosted mug is the best on a hot day!
