I want to give Wiregrass 5 stars, I just can’t. Not yet anyway. I plan to come back and try something else. I had the Southern Deviled Eggs and Premium Blackend Ribeye. The deviled eggs were delicious and to die for. The ribeye not so much it was a very fatty, gristly cut especially for the price. What really set the steak off and made me like it was some type of garlic herb butter. I had asparagus and garlic mashed potatoes as sides. I am planning to come back and try a different meal, and I believe it will have different results. As for the atmosphere of Wiregrass Southern Bistro, it is upscale casual. The 1920s building has enormously high ceilings, and brick walls decorated with art (that’s for sale) are astounding. Your eyes should immediately be drawn to the gorgeous, well thought-out, fully stocked bar. While you’re sitting and taking in the view, you may even notice the second loft like floor. As you are taking in the sights of this restaurant, make sure to take notice of the real flora arrangement on your table along with many other very small details of this stunning restaurant. They have taken this historic building and made it their own while still preserving its uniqueness. I highly recommend you stop off for a bite to eat. I know I’ll be back, and I look forward to changing my rating for the better.

Pictures coming soon. I always go for lunch but will be going for dinner soon. I want to try that braised short rib and pork belly Trust me u want to come here. I usually get the burger n sweet potato fries. They have lunch and dinner but closed in between and not open every day of the week. Maybe we can change that The owners are lovely,and the staff is sweet, personable, and attentive. The cooks are mighty but small. The food is the bomb-diggity and very unique. They have a downstairs/ upstairs bar with a lounge and eating area outside the front entrance, live music on Wednesdays a bar. The place is clean and one of my favorites Keep a seat warm for me if u go.

What a great experience. The food was GREAT from Burger to grilled salmon. They have a honey truffle sauce for the sweet potato fries…..mmmmmm. The fried okra is a little weird (whole) but soooo yummy. Well worth the drive to Quitman.

The food was outstanding, the staff were attentive and friendly and for only being open a month they were very organized. We had the bang bang shrimp for an appetizer and it was one if the best we have had. They recommend a reservation. I would highly recommend…..A+

My wife and I went here to enjoy dinner and music. The food was very good and the woman entertainer was fantastic. She stated she had a background in Opera which is probably why her voice was so strong. I’m from NJ and she actually started with two Bruce Springsteen songs. She had a great list of songs and even sang a couple of original songs. We enjoyed everything there. Would recommend to anyone.

Went there last nite with big hopes. But was very disappointed. The beef tips came with only 5 prices of meat not even 3 oz. Just a big bowl of tasteless resoto. My wife had chicken picata the chicken was way over cooked very dry. A freind had salmon that was so over cooked it might as well been jersey. It was not eaten. The permento app was just microwaved had separated just oil on top. And the toast served with it was so hard and stale it would cut your mouth. The help was very nice and friendly. But the food was not good and not worth the money.

The staff was amazing. The food was phenomenal and way above our expectations. The ambiance was perfect and the restaurant was beautiful. There was a large selection of adult beverages that anyone could have their choice of the best. The menu offered a large variety of choices. There were four of us, we split two appetizers; the bang bang shrimp and deviled eggs, they were awesome! Our meals were great as well. Shrimp and grits, salmon with veggies, steak and asparagus, and the Wiregrass pasta with sirloin tips. Highly recommend! We will definitely be back.
