Saw this place from the street whilst traveling North on Grand Ave in Covina. Turned around and decided to stop on in & give ’em a try. Ordered the fried rice special (comes with fresh, small shrimp, beef bits and chicken nibblets) PLUS the ‘Full Size’ Kung Pao Beef platter. WOW, pretty darned good and a whole lotta food to boot! Will be back soon for certain !

The inexplicable homey atmosphere adds to the great food and polite service. Portions and quality for the price is just right- you could find more food for your money at any Chinese fast-food joint, but I bet the quality wouldn’t compare. That said, a family of four can get away with a $40-$60 with leftovers and satisfied palates. Tip- Skip the “House” rice/mein and go for the unique twists (still listed near the top of the menu), like the egg white fried rice.

We really enjoyed the variety & quality of the dishes here. Service is very sincere & we will definitely order other items in the future. The place is a med. size, but the long list of menu items reflect the confidence of the chef. The price is very reasonable, the portion is generous & can’t wait for the next meal. This is a real deal.

First time and it was very good. Nice portions for the prices. Came with my mom and boyfriend and we ordered several items so that there would be leftovers and the bill was cheaper than I expected…and will enjoy it tomorrow too! Will definitely be back.

Ordered takeout for our first time from here tonight. As I waited and watched food coming out into the dining room from the kitchen… the plates of food looked amazing! Unfortunately my family’s experience, once we arrived home and opened up our packages of food, was less than satisfactory. My fried sole was cooked just right but no flavor, sauce or rice… we had 2 orders of orange chicken, 1 spicy & 1 mild, they both tasted exactly alike, bland, slightly dry, large portions and again, no rice or broccoli (like in the picture) We had an order of their house rice which was ok. The fried dumplings were good. Crab and cheese stuffed wontons and spring rolls were over cooked and greasy. Prices were reasonable. The dining room appeared clean but my shoes stuck to the carpet in a few places… staff was friendly. If I were to eat there I would rather listen to music while I eat than watching the TV… my family and I will most likely never return… this night wasted $65+ of our money and we had hoped to eat it for 2 nights… and we will give our opinions to our friends…

After all these years going down Grand Ave Finally Decided to Stop bye for Lunch sure glad I did. Very fresh,very good,not bland, Met Lee very helpful. Don’t let 5his place fool you fromt the St.view it was a Surprising…gotta go back to try Another Dish.
