Headed home from Huntsville, we stopped to try this place. There were no seats available(very small dining area), so we sat at the bar. The lady working behind the bar was very personable and attentive. We immediately were offered drinks that come in huge 32 oz styrofoam cups. We ordered the nachos, the only cheese they came with was cotija, im a queso girl, but they were still enjoyable. Fried green tomatoes were very good, cut into little chunks, vs. sliced tomatoes. I ordered a patty melt, which turned out to be a huge double cheese burger that I could only eat half of. My husband ordered a brisket sandwich, which he said was really good. Fries are fresh cut and just right! Baked beans are some of the best I’ve ever had. The only dish I didn’t enjoy was the mac and cheese. It lacked cheese flavor. It tasted like Roux. Will definitely return for the other items.

I normally don’t care for BBQ but stopped in to local restaurant. How happy I was I stopped. Very tender brisket. Forgot to tell wait staff lean and got half and half. The bbq sauce and vinegary mustard were very tasty. Would definitely go back. Looked like a local favorite.

We stopped on the way to the beach and so glad we did, always would rather try something that’s not a chain. Great food, the smoked turkey was amazing. Loved the white BBQ sauce and the baked beans and potato salad too. The service was quick and our waitress was super sweet. Definitely recommend if you have a chance.

I’ll be honest, there are so many pop up bbq places that think they’re the best. Some are great some aren’t. When I saw this place open up in Warrior I was thinking it’s another run of the mill spot, but goodness I was WRONG. this place is legit and I’ve yet to have anything that I didn’t really enjoy. The bbq is on point but man that turkey is what I love. The catering has been some of the best I’ve had. This is genuinely a treasure up in Warrior and well worth it.

Some of the best BBQ in Alabama. It is worth pulling off I65 and very short drive east down hwy 160 to try. I believe they are closed Mondays so check their hours. Love this place!

Stopped in while passing through. Can’t get into the overall menu and experience, but can say the Friday night smoked prime rib was absolutely amazing. The baked beans and mac n cheese were perfect. Nobody in the group had a bad meal or bad experience. Down home feel with fast attentive service. Highly recommended!

Well worth drive. I love the Beef Brisket, I travel and have eaten at a lot of BBQ restaurants. I put Porky’s beef brisket up against any of them. Most do not do beef much less well and where you can get it lean without sacrifice any flavor or tenderness. I will and have driven from Avondale at lunch (45 min) away to eat lunch here.
