Home style and authentic Japanese food and the best sushi you could imagine. I am hooked on their Colorado Roll. My daughter always has an itch for Japanese food and I was brought here by a friend, so I have since taken her (8yo) and she cannot stop raving about how delicious everything was. Their service is also top-notch. Highly recommend. Can be busy, but that’s simply because it’s worth it.

Don’t let the no-frills nature of this hidden gem fool you. Osaka delivers some of the most consistently delectable sea creatures of any sushi spot in town. I’ve been a regular for a few years now and have yet to be disappointed. The owner, Jay, greets each guest with a sparkling optimism sure to make your raw bites even tastier. He’s even been known to throw down a glass of sake or two with guests who offer him a taste. They also offer delightful cuts of Walu and Black Snapper, which can be difficult to find in most restaurants. All of their delicious fish is fairly priced and the drinks are cold and copious. Hands down my favorite weekly sushi stop in Denver.

We went in for lunch pretty late, almost close to last call and they were still friendly and greeted us in. Delicious sushi and rolls. Hard to find a sushi place that does really good nigiri sushi and they nailed it. Good fish to rice ratio for both nigiri and rolls!
